Barrel House Liquor — Local services in Topeka

Been coming here off and on since I turned 21 I'll start with that. Yesterday was the first bad experience I have ever had with this place. Walked in with my dad both of us over 21. Grab the a cart got the things we needed. We were grabbing a good wine for my mom's birthday. Walked up to the counter the big guy with glasses on asked for my ID no problem showed him my ID (must have thought my dad was buying it for me) even after I showed him my ID he was just rude through the entire transaction this guy should not be working here he would do better off as a security guard at a prison with the attitude he has and the no backbone. My dad even made the joke of (wow I feel offended you didn't ask for my ID) My dad and I both laughed but he kept a straight face. (Thinking he was buying the liquor for me or my ID wasn't real) We did nothing wrong and even after the transaction he was still rude. We will be done shopping here and we'll take our business back to Devlin's. This place was great until you hire people like that he had obviously been caught selling to minors before or you wouldn't have that attitude. Even then if you're working in a liquor store and can't even have a laugh then that is the wrong job for you. Good store bad...

This is a very good place to buy your alcohol. They have a huge selection of wines, beers, and liquor. They also have premixed drinks and the supplies to go with your liquor. I would say it is one of the best liquor stores in Topeka. The store is very clean, the staff is very helpful and everything is always in stock. They are also cheaper than several of the other larger liquor stores. I would definitely recommend the Barrel House for all your alcohol needs! I love the gift...

If you drink alcohol no matter what kind type or flavor this place has got you covered with so many selections under one roof and very competitive prices why would you shop any place else the store is clean and well organized and the staff will help you find whatever you are looking for and possibly more lol it is handicap friendly and there is plenty of parking so please go and support a local business that is worth...
