Four Cousins Ice Cream — Restaurant in Topsail Beach

Absolutely phenomenal homemade ice cream - the owner makes the most amazing cakes (from scratch!!) in the restaurant Larry’s Deli-Que right next door. She also makes the ice cream and the ingredients in it - as much as possible. For example, she makes a caramel sauce from scratch for each batch of ice cream. My husband loves plain chocolate ice cream and it was one of the best he’s ever had. I had the caramel Oreo and it was amazingly delicious. The caramel was created perfectly - which is not easy to do - and every bite was melt in your mouth creamy perfection. The owners really put love into each of the desserts they create. While they have a great selection of fun flavors, they also nail the classics as well. Even more important than the great taste, the owner gave us a tour of the kitchen and showed us where she makes the ice cream. You have to be really confident in your staff and the cleanliness of your restaurant to be able to show that side to customers. The staff were all pleasant, happy to be working there, and it was one of the cleanest restaurant kitchens I’ve ever seen. I got a quick glimpse of where they stock things and was impressed to see how organized and well run the restaurant is. I highly recommend this amazing family company, and hope you will enjoy them as well! Great dessert and stellar meal next door too! I’ve never even eaten at a place that looked like it was a restaurant featured at Food Network but this is definitely the one. My family and I recently discovered the most incredible ice cream shop, and we can't stop thinking about it! From the moment we stepped inside and smelled the aroma of freshly made waffle cones we knew this place was going to be awesome. The selection of flavors was mind-boggling, with classics like chocolate and vanilla alongside unique creations I had never even imagined. My favorite keeps changing every day when I try something new. Today’s new favorite was the chocolate birthday cake. OMG I don’t know how they will top this one

The staff were not only welcoming and friendly but also incredibly knowledgeable about their offerings. They patiently helped us navigate the array of flavors and even offered creative suggestions for combinations. It was clear that they took great pride in their craft, and it showed in every scoop they served.

After a day in the sun the ambiance of the shop was equally enchanting. The colorful decor and cheerful and joyful atmosphere added to the overall experience. It was the perfect place to enjoy a sweet treat with the kids.

They have only been opened a week and we have been here every day since they opened. I wholeheartedly recommend this ice cream shop. It's a true gem that captures the essence of pure indulgence and elevates ice cream to an art form. Treat yourself and prepare...

As someone that could and often has eaten ice cream for breakfast - I could indulge in the ice cream here for breakfast lunch and dinner. The portions are sizable and delicious. I had the cookie butter and ginger snap ice cream bc their Christmas cookie wasn't out or was out 😅 Not like I mind coming back for it, especially now.

This place almost rivals Jenni's (and should) Because THEIR gooey blueberry cake NEEDS to be mixed in a tub of cream cheese ice cream - much like Jenni's gooey butter cake ice cream.

So if you're not an "ice cream person", much like my husband, fear not - their bakery has your sweet tooth completely covered.

Highly recommend. Wonderful way to end our 1st wedding Anniversary dinner.

*Edited to add- yes, their ice cream prices SEEM higher, but if you think about the location, quality, and space the lot holds... It adds up and it's not out of malice. Prices are going up everywhere. Small-batch ice cream means you're not eating freezer-burnt gobs of milk and sugar that traveled miles on a truck. If you would like discount ice cream, there's a McDonald's down the road...but who knows if the...
