Haven’t visited KFC in a while so I thought it would be a good idea. I was limited on time so I thought this would be a good option for a quick meal. I ordered the two piece box with thigh and leg. Asked to substitute the leg to a thigh, and informed them I’d be willing to pay more for the substitution. They weren’t having it. I don’t know why they couldn’t find a solution to charge me more or suggest a different box option. They just keep saying no, it can’t be done. No changes, no substitutions. Then a supervisor joined the conversation from afar and started speaking loudly at me. She should have had the decency to walk up to counter where I was standing to have a normal conversation. The supervisor/manager does not grasp the concept of customer service. She yells, talks over you, and speaks so fast trying to rush you away when the mistake was theirs to begin with.
Pre-ordered the night before for pick-up the next afternoon. When we arrived to pick up our order, they apparently "could not" honor it because all orders have to be picked up same day they are placed? Their website gave the option and confirmed via email after taking payment. Even after showing the manager the email with the date and instructions, she refused. She had us reorder everything listed in the email while standing there and required payment again. I placed an online order and arrived on time, only to end up waiting over 25 minutes in the parking lot for my food. Despite ordering ahead, nothing was ready. When I inquired, the customer service was unhelpful and dismissive. I asked to speak with a manager, and the employee at the window—Maira—claimed she was the manager.
After such an unreasonable wait, I politely asked for a small courtesy like a BBQ sauce, and was flat-out refused. Honestly, after everything, that felt unnecessarily petty. It was the least they could’ve done.
