NOT A KID/FAMILY-FRIENDLY BREWERY. Unless you are white, you & your kids are not welcome here. I say this because other white kids/families present were not treated the same way, even though they were also just being kids. Austin yelled at my kids for being literal kids (again, other kids were not yelled at for doing the same thing). It’s wild that Austin thought he could approach 5- and 8-year-old children in the way he did. If they are not kid- or family-friendly and expect children to not move at their establishment, they should explicitly state so. Instead, Austin yelled at our kids, spoke negatively about them to other customers, and, when my husband approached him to ask that he speak directly to us instead of other customers, Austin threw a cup at one of us. All of this occurred in front of the "owner." Our kids were playing in the arcade, playing chess and dice, and occasionally running—all within our view. Again, they are kids! They were not bumping into people or doing anything disruptive. This was a horrible human interaction, not just poor customer service. Austin clearly has no patience with children and should hold a position that does not involve customer interaction, if any. I’ve never had this type of experience at any brewery, and I am truly disappointed that this establishment presents itself as family-friendly for sales but treats its...
Read moreThis place is disgusting and when I use that term I am referring to the bartender's behavior. He was wildly inappropriate to us, cursing at us in front of children. Basically chased us out of the establishment and yelling in-front of other customers. They advertise as a family friendly establishment, I would strongly disagree. He was so mean to our children, when another customer spilled a beer and broke a glass in the game room, he yelled at the kids and it wasn't their fault then he shut the game room down. As soon as we left he opened the arcade room back up and was laughing. Being intentionally mean to kids is a whole new low. The beer isn't that good and the service was horrible. Classless...
Read moreWe’ve been twice now. This is a typical warehouse microbrewery like so many others in Torrance. It’s situated in a business complex with near-identical buildings, so the location isn’t particularly inspiring. However, once you walk in, the atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. We have tried quite a few of their beers by now and they were all good or outstanding. I love the black IPA! They also have kettle chips and some other snacks, as well as games. Pretty sure there was a food truck the first time we were in. All in all, a laid back place with good beer that I’ll happily come back to whenever I’m...
