Hey, Starbucks groupie here. I've had my shared of drive-thru and mobile pickup orders on a weekly basis with many of the Starbucks in Los Angeles County. This is my two-cents and a nickel on this location. Let's jump right into this review.
This location is at the intersection of Hawthorne Blvd. & Pacific Coast Highway. Stand alone location in a shopping center. I have been here twice now.
Drinks (seasonal) Fall is here and all things PUMPKIN are back at Starbucks!
Drinks (my usuals) Venti Strawberry Acaí with lemonade, no strawberries, add peach juice
Venti Green Tea with water, add 2 splendas, sometimes I substitute water for lemonade
Grande Hot Chocolate w/ extra whipped cream, with a splash of vanilla syrup - kids temp :)
Things to know: No drive-thru. Inside has tables and chairs - few. Outside has tables and chairs as well.
Plenty of parking.
I have ordered through the mobile app only. They are spot-on for ETA here with mobile app orders.
I have learned that the refreshers/teas taste varies by location. This location, my Refresher was a hit both times I ordered.
The staff is friendly and personable at this location. No complaints.
The inside was in "good shape", lol.
Location doesn't seem to be very busy but steady. I went on a Friday at 4pm and a Saturday at 1pm.
Overall, it appears this is a neighborhood Starbucks serving...
Read moreHorrible customer service from Christian. I asked for a venti (with witnesses who heard my order) but Christian made a grande. Then he threw away the grande, had me wait to make a new one (which is wasteful). The polite thing he could have done as an apology was give that one to me in addition to the correct size). But instead, he proceeded to tell me to go pay for the difference in size based on a starbucks worker's error not mine. I've been coming to starbucks for over 20 years and I've never been treated with such poor customer service. It was only a 30 cents difference and THEIR error, which usually is apologized for, and not needing compensation. Waiting for an overpriced coffee from a multibillion dollar company only to get treated like this is absurd. And to be told to go back in line to pay the difference is even more unheard of. It's standard policy to be given the correct drink when they make a mistake without charge yet they said they had to log the extra oat milk they used...
Read moreI've worked years in customer service and let me tell you... Hayley is exceptional. So sweet. Really chill about me changing my order before they sent it and also helped guide me to an order I would be satisfied with when making new selections. They even asked me "do you like Sriracha?" When i ordered my breakfast burrito and put it in the bag for me. I didn't even know they had Sriracha at Starbucks! All around lovely, helpful and patient human being. Make sure Hayley...
