The food is worth the visit. It is far from fufu food, but, for what it is it's very good.
For me and my family, the quesadilla with bairria is always ordered and always finished. I will admit, we are creatures of habit. We've ordered many things on the menu but that's the one we always come back to. Price point is reasonable for a family, but of course, that's all relative.
The ambiance is nothing that's going to move the chains here. It's a basic sit down. Go get your own napkins. Go get your own utensils that type of thing. By get your own I mean go up to the counter and ask for them.
The order process could use a little bit of technology. By that I mean, they could get a monitor with a link to their ordering system. They could also revise the que system, but that would probably require them raising the prices since it would require a little bit of a remodel. Probably not worth it for them given their price point.
All in all, if you like this type of food it's definitely something you...
Read moreThis is the worst tasting Mexican food I have ever tried. They actually make Taco Bell taste more authentic.
I ordered a Carne Asada burrito and a chicken taco. I tried this place when they first opened and noticed they put a ton of rice and beans in their burritos, so I asked for the rice and beans on the side. The manager told me they can't do that. Ummm...what?!
I asked for no rice and no beans, but wanted extra meat. The meat was dry and tasted like it had been boiled instead of grilled. It had the texture of tuna straight out of the can and no flavor. I guess they figure you can pour the soup-like sauce over it, but it doesn't take away the dryness.
The only other items inside the burrito should've been cilantro, onions, and guacamole. There was something green in the middle, but it tasted nothing like guacamole. The crunchy stuff also tasted more like pickles than it did chopped onions.
Chicken was overcooked and dry as well. No chance I'll ever...
Read moreHorrible customer service EVER. I don’t know if they were stressed out because of the amount of customers but that doesn’t matter AT ALL. Your job is to decent good service if you’re getting paid. I came to pick up my to-go order but the cashier woman didn’t even look up to ask about us or tell us that they’re currently cooking and have to wait. Instead they kept on ignoring us so I thought I can’t just pick up my order on the shelf but the lady then turned and gave us an attitude following with an “EXCUSE ME” like hello? We were patiently waiting in FRONT of you but you chose to ignore your customers and act busy. The lady cooking also saw us but didn’t even try to mention about us. I’ve loved this place and the food but today’s incident just ruined my day and made the food taste awful. I just can’t believe how people can act like this when they’re getting PAID. You’re not here to volunteer right? I did come to the store after I got an “your order is...
