Christopher's Family Restaurant — Restaurant in Town of Amherst

went for lunch there Thursday. honestly the worst lunch we have had anywhere. restaurant hours were open until 2 o’clock we got there at one. The restaurant was hot and the smell was musty. I ordered the open souvlaki. The chicken was cooked fine however The tomatoes had a moldy taste. my boyfriend have a chicken fingers which we were told there was four he got two chicken fingers and the other two pieces were the size of nuggets. there were no other tables so the waitress stood behind us as we ate the entire time. when she brought the check I told her about the moldy tomatoes she simply said I’ll tell the chef. never apologized never offered some thing else in its place. normally I don’t like to post bad reviews about restaurants especially in a time where it’s hard to find help. but this experience had too many bad things not to share. Went for breakfast on 4/23/23. I ordered the hearty breakfast with sausage, pancakes and side of toast, my girlfriend ordered the hearty breakfast with bacon, French toast and side of toast. My order came out and the scrambled eggs were runny,the sausage looked and tasted absolutely disgusting the toast was burned beyond belief. My girlfriends over easy eggs were disgusting, don't know how they cooked the home fries but they were bland and disgusting, her French toast was horrible. We have never had such awful food. My girlfriend literally barely ate anything off her plate, when the waitress asked how everything was and we told her she didn't even offer to take anything off the bill, just said she would let the cook know. Stopped in for late breakfast. Ummm...HOW have I been sleeping on this place? I HATE weak diner coffee, and have even gone so far as to stop and pick up Tim's dark roast, or Starbucks on our way to Denny's, IHOP, etc because a bad cup of coffee will ruin my morning! LOL. I was SO pleasantly surprised at the quality of the coffee at Christopher's!😃 WOW! Also, I have no idea what they're doing with the pancakes, but even my pancake expert child said they are THE BEST pancakes he's ever had....and I agree!
