The food was very good I had tricolor enchiladas. The molé sauce had a wonderful light flavor of chocolate. All 3 sauces had wonderful flavor. The salsa given with the chips at the table taste house made with chunks of onion and a mild underlying flavor of fresh cilantro. The chips also seemed house made. My friend had a burrito and loved every moment of it. The refried beans also seemed House made and reminded me of those I ate as a child visiting friends from Mexico. Definitely not those you get out of a can. We had one of the sampler platters of appetizers and everything was delicious. The quesadilla was very full of meat I would order a quesadilla there judging by that appetizer. The stuffed jalapenos on it were delicious. Now for the reason for four stars instead of five. They have a very limited selection of draft beer. This isn't an issue for me but my friend was very disappointed. I ordered a margarita. I realize they have multiple flavors of the adult slushy version of a margarita but I wanted a real margarita. The one served from a cocktail shaker in a glass with salt on the rim. I was actually very very disappointed. What I received was a day glo fluorescent green liquid that seemed room temperature. It was most likely from a mix that you pick up at a restaurant supply store like Gordon's and not made to order with fresh lime juice and Cointreau or triple sec. It had an odd thick mouth feel to it that you don't receive with a simple syrup made with sugar but do with something containing high fructose corn syrup and thickners. This and the odd artificial color makes me think it was a mix. Also no salt on The rim. service was good. The interior is colorful and fun. However, I expected a Mexican restaurant to at least be able to get a simple margarita right. Over all the food wasn't bad. However, I don't drink very often. This was a special treat. With so many Mexican restaurants in the area I think I will try a different...
Read moreListen. When I go for authentic Mexican food, this is EXACTLY what the hell I am talking about. Atmosphere and motion absolutely matter in this situation and this place had both.
Our 2nd night out on the town; me and my lady waited almost a half hour to be seated. Here's the kicker. WE DIDN'T EVEN MIND! We had high expectations and these folks met them. Clean, artsy, lively joint with a brilliant staff. Got our food out in such a quick and orderly fashion.
First off, I love the tortilla chips. Packed a serious crunch and have the right amount of salty goodness to be eaten solo. The salsa, ESPECIALLY the Queso Blanco; bravo! Absolute elite taste. Would've loved it to be a bit thicker, but it was still great.
The Cho-ri Fries. Oh, my stars at night. These almost made me faint. BEYOND bangingly delicious. The chorizo, cheese and Pico de Gallo rate were as equal as equal can get and harmonized beautifully with one another while keeping the fries good and damn crispy.
My lady finished off with the Chicken soft tacos and I doubled up with a Grande Chicken Burrito and a Chicken Quesadilla. This is not an exaggeration. That.....was the best quesadilla I've ever had in my natural born life. So much flavor spilling out so effortlessly.
Fantastic experience. Buffalo was incredible and you all were apart of that. Thank you so much, again for making us feel so welcome.
Rating: 9.4/10 (Thicker Queso is always better. It tastes amazing. Thicken that sucker up just a tad; you're gonna have to sell that by the bottle and ya might just get a postcard...

No soup spoon only a teaspoon...The soup was HORRIBLE! There was a HUGE GLOB and I do mean GLOB of bland sour cream (not sure if it actually was) in it! It had to be at least a whole 12 cup! OMG! Talk about ridiculous! Never did get the Guacamole or Pico ....All the reviews left that are favorable on this place are unbelievable ...Proof there are some people who will eat anything and obviously don't care if it has flavor or tastes good.We will...
