They just opened a play place which is incredible. It was beautiful in there....today was it's opening. As much as it was impressive, we had a very poor experience....the owner was very uptight and does not allow kids to be kids. She was cleaning and organizing around them making them feel like an inconvenience rather than little Important customers who paid to be there. She wanted toys to stay in specific centers which is just not plausible with toddlers. She needs to be more warm and welcoming if she wants the play center to be successful. She should note how Miss Molly from Sweet Charlotte's runs her center...she makes every child feel welcomed and loved. I felt like my kids were being a bother for just playing. Also, they charge ADULTS $5 which is absolutely outrageous! $10 is a high price as is....so basically for your kid to play it's $15....I'm sorry, that's ridiculous. Adults aren't there to play....we're supervising our children....that shouldn't be a charge. I hope these comments are read and taken seriously by management because we love the play center but I felt very unwelcomed and it was expensive. I love to support local business, and we've been customers for years, but I wanted to feel warm and welcomed but I felt like they were annoyed my kids were just being kids. Kids are messy, disorganized little beings. Maybe wait until it's less crowded to clean....and make children feel welcomed and loved. They are your customers! If I was just reviewing the play center itself it would be 5 stars....but the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreCame here today with my kids and was so thrilled to find this little, quiet play place. The actual play area was adorable and my kids had a great time. Immediately upon walking in I felt a REALLY strange vibe from the owner and honestly thought it was me but after reading reviews I realize it was not. My kids immediately put on their masks to play, which was not a problem. The lady (owner I assume) grilled us about whether we were feeling sick which I reassured her we were not. She asked multiple times and then I actually told her we had covid in December so thankfully weāre all set! (I felt like I needed to reassure her) and then she anxiously informed me we can still get it again. (I mean, okay). Then she reiterated rules about no food or drink (which we already knew from all of the signs- we had no food or drink). She attempted to get my 2 year old to put his stuffed animal that he brought from home which I thought was a bit overkill. Then she kind of aggressively made my kids sanitize their hands (like pumped the sanitizer on their hands⦠my 2 year old refused because , um youāre a stranger). I did it for him. When we went to use the bathroom she told me to make sure I turned the light off haha. The whole experience irked me and was uncomfortable- Iām giving 3 stars only because the actual play area was adorable and my kids had...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreCalled yesterday ( Tuesday March first ) inquiring about a birthday party . On line it states birthday parties and prices but I had a few other questions . At this point there are no mask mandates for the vaccinate or the unvaccinated and schools lifting their mandates the day after. The birthday party would have been in April . The person on the phone ( Iām assuming the owner after reading the reviews on how rude she is ) told me they donāt do birthday parties and I questioned if that was correct because of the information I read on their website. She then says they do but they would be with the public, which is fine . She then states there is no food or drink allowed because of covid ( mind you there are no more restrictions mandated in our area ) I ask about the mask policy and she said itās enforced until the kids donāt have to wear them in school . I then informed her that on Sunday the governor lifted the mandate and they donāt have to wear them . She told me I was incorrect and continued to argue with me . She was extremely rude and I finally said never mind that I wasnāt interested in doing business with someone like her . Maybe she needs to rethink her career path or hire a personable person to be the face of her business because I will now tell everyone I know to...
