MooMoo Tea — Restaurant in Town of Amherst

When I visited this store, I decided to try their pineapple bun, which is one of their more well-known items. To my surprise, the bun itself didn’t really carry much of a pineapple flavor. However, it wasn’t overly sweet either, which I actually appreciated since I personally prefer baked goods that are not too sugary. The subtle sweetness made it easy to enjoy without feeling heavy or overwhelming.

In terms of variety, I noticed that there weren’t too many pastry options available at the time of my visit. They did have some cakes, though only one was on display when I was there. Besides the pineapple bun, I saw they offered a few interesting rolls, such as a strawberry cream roll and a peach cream roll. Both looked quite appealing and something I would consider trying on my next visit. They also had a chocolate pastry cake and a chocolate bun, which added a nice balance for people who enjoy more classic flavors.

Beyond the sweet pastries, the store carried a handful of savory items as well, including egg tarts and mochi. On the beverage side, they had several slushy drinks and a few options for boba or milk teas, which could pair nicely with their baked treats. I ordered the coconut slush drink. First, you cannot modify anything. I assumed it would taste like coconut. It is coconut milk blended with ice, you would assume that stuff is mangoes or some type of fruit, it is not. IT IS CORN.
