Bowled — Restaurant in Town of Amsterdam

This was the second time in two weeks I have had an issues with this business. I purchased a large salad with double chicken broccoli beets cheese and chickpeas. Dressing tossed on the side.with the house greens. Well opened my salad to a 1/4 cup of everything ! The lettuce was soaked in dressing and little chicken no broccoli and I had to toss yet another item in the trash from this place. Last week I ordered online and the employee informed me they didn’t get my order after I had show the receipt 3 times she finally gave the two salads I paid for 34.00! The girl was rude and basically told me she didn’t receive my order and continued to work and not help me after paying online for my purchase. Tonight was the third issue with this place and I’m not going to return. It’s a shame because I really like this restaurant but very poor service and quality of food . Finally got around to checking out the new Bowled that'd opened up here in Amsterdam, I've been to the one in Ballston Spa before many times, so I had a general idea of what I was going to be getting into.

Wanted to go all out as Friday's are generally my "cheat" day, and a salad and soup are not really a big way of cheating. So I packed my salad with peppers, onions, cheese, croutons, chicken, and garlic parm dressing. The soup was more of just "the only soup they had available" which was the Chicken Corn Chowder, but it was still a great pick.

Both the salad and soup were fantastic, and totally ready at the time I came by to pick them up since I put my order in online via the Bowled website. Only coming to a total of $27, a super great deal for what I got.

Went in at 1 pm Wednesday. I stood at the register for a few mins while someone was making a salad. Some super loud woman from the back came up to ring me out, and when my card was in the reader she just turned around and left me, no "thanks" or "it will be a minute" or "you're all set", nothing, and then barked at the lady making the salad "I'll leave that for you". It took me 8 minutes from getting to the register to getting my food then I was the only person in the store. Will never go back. I can't imagine that will be open long with service like that in a totally empty restaurant. I felt bad for the lady making the food, must be awful working...
