Go to a gas station or Chuck E. Cheese for better pizza and better customer service. On 2 occasions, I have recieved pizza that looks and tastes terrible from Leo's in East Aurora. On the 2nd occasion, the large cheese and pepperoni pizza was an embarrassment for what we have available in Buffalo. There were slices on the pizza that had 1-2 slices of pepperoni on it. When I called the shift manager to voice my displeasure with the quality of the product and ask for a refund, they offered to refund me 25 cents. Their rationale for this was that was the proportion of the topping cost for the 2 slices that were not made properly. You read that right, they offered me a refund of 25 cents for a terribly made pizza that was over $20. When I explained to them that the entire pizza was terrible, from the skimpy pepperoni, cheese and sauce to the undercooked dough, she explained to me that all the ingredients are pre-measured so there was no way the pizza was made poorly. She did state that it was a new employee that applied the pepperoni but not the other ingredients(??) and he may have not done it properly, but again, her solution was a refund of 25 cents. After I explained this was not an appropriate customer service solution in any venue, she told me I could drive back and they would remake the pizza. This would be a 40 minute drive round trip for me, and not at all a satisfactory solution just to receive another pre-portioned pizza which would now likely be made by an angry employee. When I requested a phone call from a store manager, she stated that she would have a manager call me in a couple days. Well, that was 2 months ago and still no phone call. Honestly, I've had better pizzas in Egypt and Asia. How is that possible when we have so many amazing locally owned pizzerias with quality pizza? Their product and customer service is terrible and unacceptable. Strongly reconsider if you are planning to order from this business. There are much better options like picassos, mia mangias, buffalos best, Pasquale, or pizza del aureo. You could even go to 7-Eleven for pizza...
Read moreUpdate 2 years later (Original review was 5 stars and is below) COVID has hit everything without a doubt and I feel bad for business owners. Unfortunately I absolutely cannot spend $90 on 2 pizzas and 20 wings. It's nice they give a 10% discount to veterans and it saved $8 (the $3 mgr discount on the receipt was an adjustment because I had to point out they overcharged me for their December pizza special). However without that discount we're talking $90 for a couple pizzas and wings. The pepperoni pizza and 20 wings combo is $48 alone! The second photo attached to my review is for my family of 4 eating out at Texas Roadhouse a few days ago. There, two of us got steak with sides, one person got a pulled pork sandwich with fries, and a younger child got mini cheeseburgers with a milk. We had a cactus blossom, and I had a giant beer, two side salads were ordered as well and unlimited sweet rolls with cinnamon honey butter. We sat in the restaurant and relaxed. After giving a $13 tip we still spent less after all that than the two pizzas and 20 wings cost at Leo's. When we make pizza dough at home it costs us less than $2.00 in flour, yeast, olive oil, and salt. Toss on some sauce and toppings of choice and we're likely at $4-6. Unfortunately Leo's is off our list. Bob's Deli at 1045 Davis rd. in West Falls is right around the corner and they manage a pizza with unlimited toppings at just $12. I know Leo's likely has had COVID troubles like other businesses, but $90 for 2 pizzas and 20 wings is ludicrous. At those prices I just can't see them lasting too long... unless they make it up in alcohol sales.
Great place. Love the pizza, love the wings. Have to edit my previous review because I returned this time with my family on 1/6/19 and everything was perfect! Tyler was really helpful and checked in just right to make sure we were set. Game audio for wild card football was on and really felt welcome here. If the kids didn't have a bedtime we would have stayed longer and had a few more beers.
Will be back...
Read moreThis was my first time eating here.. Well I do have to say the service was good and the food was even better ... I ordered a large cheese and pepperoni pizza plus 20 wings. Start with the pizza ; one of the best doughs I have had in a very long time cooked to perfection the cheese they use also very good and just the right amount , the pepperoni this place uses makes the whole thing work "aka little cup pepperoni with they're greasy goodness" the sauce was fine could use a little bit more salt and sugar. All around GREAT PIZZA .. Now the wings ... The size of the wings are definitely large to jumbo which they should be great job there I tried 2 sauces honey bbq they were very good but came out on the cooler side and then I had the Cajun dry rub these came out hot perfect "not spicy hot" not a big fan of pit style but they were great wings. I also do want to add this in ,next time please make sure all the food comes out at the same time it's a little frustrating when your friends are half way done and your still waiting this is why I gave 4 stars and not 5 stars . Just some advice to give but to all restaurants we live in the buffalo area PLEASE FOR GODS SAKES MAKE BUFFALO SAUCE AN OPTION FOR WINGS " NOT HOT SAUCE HOT MED MILD THATS NOT BUFFALO SAUCE " FRANKS BUFFALO SAUCE THATS THE TICKET". All in all if you want great food at good cost if you skip this place you will regret it. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK. If you like this post please...
