Dalisa Pizza — Restaurant in Town of Babylon

On any other day I would give at least 4 stars. Their food is usually fantastic and I've never really had any issues with staff, until yesterday. We ordered chicken parm and a mini salad pie from them for delivery. After 20 minutes we noticed that we accidentally set the order to be delivered in an hour and a half, so naturally we wanted to change that, since we were hungry /now/. I call up the store, explain that the order was supposed to say deliver ASAP, give the address and name for the order as well as explain what the order was(as I was asked.) I'm told to hold on, and I hear done chattering, then the man returns to the phone and asks what I wanted to do about the order. So I repeat that I set the wrong time and want it to be delivered ASAP. Again, hold on, lots of chattering, only to have to explain it a 3rd time, and half way through this, the owner hops on the phone, interrupts and in the nastiest tone asks me to explain again. So I do and I'm greeted with her ruder-by-the-second tone telling me it'll be within the hour. But I'm not done. The food arrived and I go to eat a slice of the salad pizza, and its not their salad pizza. The salad slices I always get are made without cheese. Not by request, thats just how they made them. Its usually just a triangle of dough with salad on it, but this time It was a super thin, overly seasoned cheese pizza, topped with unwashed...

I must say the owner Francis is amazing! We had ordered a pasta dish which when delivered wasn’t correct when we called and explained the situation she got on the phone and took the time to listen and explained what most likely happened. She was willing to remake the dish but we choose not to as it was only prepared wrong . I explained to her the fact as the owner she got on the phone to handle it was enough and greatly appreciated. It’s been about a month since we ordered from Dalisa and today we placed our order about 15 mins after placing the order the owner Francis called us not only to go over the order to make sure there was no problems but to tell us our order was on her because of the previous order . Honestly I was taken back that she remembered the previous order and our conversation and the fact that she was willing to comp our order . At a time when customer service seems to be lost it definitely isn’t with Francis and Dalisa Pizza. Came here for a couple quick slices. I ordered two Sicilian and one plain and one buffalo slice. When I get home, I missing the plain slice. So I had to drive all the way back to get my plane. Which is annoying and then I have to re-pay for a plain flight because I can’t prove I didn’t get it. The pizza was very uneventful. The slice had no spice or flavor. It was very dull. The chicken had no flavor. The sauce was absolutely nothing. The cheese was boring. And the whole pizza was very saggy and doughy. The plain slice was just as boring as the rest.

Oh I almost forgot the woman made a comment when I I placed my order. “ is that all for you” had a very smug face about it. I don’t like the body shaming. She should talk especially what she looks like.
