Westside Bagels — Restaurant in Town of Babylon

I was in the area just running some errands and I stopped in for a bagel. I greeted everyone and had been waiting on line. Gradually the line was moving down, I was patiently waiting. Finally, it was my turn and the older lady behind the register skipped over me while seeing I had drinks in my hand from the fridge ready to pay and order my food. She directly greeted a client that just walked in and helped her out, while skipping over me and then not even looking at me after. There was another young lady there, she was attentive and sweet to everyone, I think her name was Brookie. Incidents like this give off the wrong message about the staff and business, even though that may not even be the truth. It could be felt and spun into a hundred things such as prejudice and racism even though it could just be “she didn’t see me”. A smile could undo the fact that she did in fact ignore me help a customer walking in minutes after me, rather than intentionally not looking while walking directly next to me and giving off...

This place is honestly the worst. Hit or miss on the food. But the service is what really brings this place down. They forget about you unless you’re a regular. And act surprised if you give them an attitude after you waited 20 minutes for a breakfast sandwich when you watched other people come in get their food and go. I Always liked going here but the last 3 times I went they had shut down early, and each time was earlier. I couldn’t even get a toasted bagel at 12:30 when they close at 1pm. If the grill is off at 12:30 just change the closing time to 12:30 and I’ll know to go somewhere else. I suggest you call any time after noon before going to see if they are actually still able to...
