Giovanni's Pizza — Restaurant in Town of Babylon

The pizza here was beyond the standard. The sauce was delicious and the crust was crunchy, even still when I finally got it home. If people say anything about the sauce and cheese ratio, or thickness, maybe try asking for a pie they way you want it, because they will go above and beyond to accommodate. More importantly, during these times of a difficult economy, people forget to take the time to be kind to one another. Many businesses tend to take your money and not look twice at you or even say thank you. I walked into this cozy establishment and felt such a calming warmth as I was struck by the charm of the unique decor. The young lady at the counter was lovely and I’m sad I didn’t ask her name. She was patient although I wasn’t sure what to get and even took a moment after I paid to have a brief but pleasant exchange of words with me. I was taken aback by her poise and genuine kindness. More businesses should take notice and treat their customers with the same gratitude because there are no shortages of good food on Long Island, so note that 90% of the time with customers should be focused on the experience. I will absolutely continue spending my hard earned money at this establishment and even go out of my way to get there. A fun fact is that if you collect part of the pizza box 10 times, you get a free pizza! This has my family running for the empty box which is really funny! My husband and I very rarely order out, and if we do, it’s only for pizza, never a meal, but my sister and brother n law came into NY from TX unfortunately for My Mother’s wake. 💔. Because of COVID, we decided to order pizza. I’ve never eaten at Giovanni’s but wanted to support local businesses. The pizza was really good so the next night I wanted to order a nice meal. So I called back and we ordered 2veal parm with vodka sauce hero’s, spaghetti and white clam sauce and chicken francese. Omg!!! The food was absolutely delicious! The veal was tender, the spaghetti and white clam sauce was delicious and had tons of clams on it, and the chicken was so tender you could cut it with a fork! We order from here at least once a week because the pizza is amazing! So we ordered dinner for delivery on New Year’s Eve and it beyond exceeded our expectations. We already knew the food was going to be good but I mean everything we ordered was EXCELLENT! We ordered eggplant parm and it was magnificent, my meatball parm was outta this world and my husbands tortellini Alfredo was some of the best Alfredo sauce we’ve ever tried! We got some pinwheels, slices and apps also and just everything was delicious. We were so extremely happy with our meals. Our food was on time and steaming hot when it arrived.
