Cute and warm tasting room and diverse mead selection. While you won’t find a “plain” mead, you won’t be disappointed in the variety of options available including options of currents, blackberries, peaches, coffee, chocolate, grape, and other flavors. Some are draft strength and some are stronger in this adorable tasting room. Staff and owner are very knowledgeable and friendly, and it’s a relaxed weekend environment to spend some time having a drink with friends. While you can do the mega flight alone, it’s kind of a crazy idea so I don’t recommend it for most people solo - it’s a 2oz taste of everything. An absolutely must-visit on Long Island, whether you're a mead fan or not! Very friendly and knowledgable staff and lots of award-winning and delicious meads to try. We were particularly impressed by the coffee and chocolate meads, which were perfectly balanced in terms of flavor, sweetness, and strength. Tucked snugly in the corner of a stripmall, hidden away from the main street, this hole in the wall meadery has a great casual atmosphere. Serving some ~20 different meads, there's something for every tastebud. Definitely get yourself a flight of 5 to try a wide variety.
