I witnessed several practices that raise concerns about both food quality and customer care. Food was sometimes held for long periods before being served, and I observed staff handling food without gloves. On multiple occasions, chicken that should have been fresh was reused instead of discarded. Customers who ordered regular chicken were often given spicy chicken without being informed, simply because the kitchen frequently miscalculated how much regular chicken was needed and did not have enough prepared. In addition, when unsweet tea was not brewed, a mixture of sweet tea and water was served in its place. This is especially concerning for guests with health conditions, such as diabetes, who rely on accurate information about what they are drinking. I personally saw returned orders placed back on the rack instead of being thrown away, which made me question food safety standards. On top of that, customer service was inconsistent, with some employees showing a noticeably unpleasant attitude. Wait times were another frequent issue. Orders larger than a four piece often took 10 to 20 minutes, which is unusually long for a fast-food setting. Ordered on the app for drive through pickup. Waited in line behind one car for about 5 min to tell them we were picking up an online order. Then waited behind the same car for 10 min at the pickup window. Then it was our turn at the window. Waited at the window for another 10 min for them to say they're waiting on chicken and to pull into a spot in the parking lot and theybwould bring it out. After waiting another 10 min or so, my wife went inside to see what was going on. My wife literally waited another 10 min inside for the food. Ultimately we were at Popeyes for almost 40 min on an order that was placed on the app almost 5 min before we even arrived. Absolute insanity. And only offered a free soda. Mybwife was too nice as I was telling her to just cancel the order. Will never go here again... Get it together people.... Only bonus was...

I didn't eat here. I called this location and the manager told me that all the chicken is Halal and at all the Popeye's in Long Island. I then called another location closer to my house. The manager said that they sometimes get boxes of chicken with Halal written on the box and at other times it doesn't say halal. So can't confirm one way or the other. Then I drive to another location and the manager confirmed that non of the Popeye's have halal chicken. Really disappointed at wrong info provided by someone at this location. You are making enough money from people who are not particular about halal. So why give wrong...
