Ralph's Famous Italian Ices — Restaurant in Town of Babylon

Ralph's has been a go-to staple during the summer months for years now. Just have to decide if you want a creme-based ice (Vanilla Chip and Rainbow cookie are my top choices), or if you want a water-based ice (Cherry has actual cherry bits in it, and Rainbow is always a classic). Prices have also seen inflation over the years, but it's still affordable. Expect lines in the evenings on nice days. They have also expanded into making shakes and other things, but I haven't ventured off into trying...

Ralphs Italian Ices are always great. It was on the visit bucket list since my kids have never had them. As always the food was great. The staff, not so much. They seemed bothered by us being there, and both seemed to be having a miserable day. 2 stars because it was delicious as always. I ordered a quart of ice cream from the little east neck location. Upon opening I realize that it was not filled to the top as well as a lot of air pockets indicating that the ice cream was not pushed down. The price is already a bit high for them to skimp on ice cream...
