One thing for sure and 2 for certain I will not be dining at this location again. Price aside, because everything is expensive these days, from the moment I pulled into the drive thru I was unimpressed. I was the only car in line and still managed to have to wait about 10 minutes to get my order taken, another 10 for it to come out. And then when it did come out it was the wrong order. I went inside to have it corrected and spent an additional 10-15 minutes waiting for my remake.
A woman who had been dining in prior to my arrival, had approached the counter and stated she had been waiting over 30 minutes for her food. The food runner, although efficient and friendly did not seem properly trained on the station. I overheard a frustrated employee telling the blizzard station crew that they were making the blizzards sloppy and that she couldn’t send it out in that condition. Other people that had approached the counter were missing items or had incorrect items. There seems to be a total lack of communication and systematic practices.
I would like to note that, I do not feel this stems from the employees. I felt all of the staff was friendly and courteous and honestly just overwhelmed and probably overworked. I think to better this establishment, more systematic practices and procedure should be in place and enforced. Employees should be retrained, so they fully understand there objective at their station. At bare minimum at least getting the order correct and in a timely fashion would greatly improve the success of this establishment.
I don’t feel as if this is a terrible place, I don’t even think the food is all that bad. Though there was a black plastic shard in my fries that was mildly concerning, and I asked for a Oreo blizzard, and received a different one with a peanut butter base. Which had I been allergic to peanut butter, that could’ve turned badly.
The serious issues that should be addressed are timely orders, correct orders and, better communication amongst staff. I feel like that would transform this place to be more successful, and more...
Read moreAll in all this place was overrated and especially dirty for being a brand new store. The items that they sell are nothing more than things you could buy at the grocery store and make yourself. The burgers are average Frozen burger patties made into hamburgers and cheeseburgers the chicken strips are breaded chicken strips that you would buy in any Walmart or Big box store and the fries or nothing good at all. The service was horrible and the people working there were literally walking around giving away free food because they couldn't find the people who ordered the order they were carrying around for 5 or 10 minutes. The bathrooms were dirty and stunk terrible for being a new store. The people carrying around the orders need to cover their mouths over your food and stopped carrying around the items of food like they're carrying around a phone with a phone call for a person holding it out in front of everybody asking if it's theirs. I didn't think the prices were good or even reasonable at this place. At one point my party considered getting up and walking out to walk across the parking lot and go to Taco Bell because the food service and prices were that terrible. For being a new store I would not recommend Dairy Queen and in general wouldn't recommend a Dairy Queen to my kids even starving. We visited on 9/18/23 this location has been open for about a month we ordered 2 dressed cheeseburgers 2 chili cheese dogs a lg blizzard and lg shake. The blizzard and shake came out in about 10 minutes then the fiasco started we waited another 15 minutes and still no sandwiches went to the counter and they hadn't even started making the order yet after another 5 minutes someone came out and asked us to see our receipt and they would get that right out waited another 10 minutes when finally someone brought food out to us it was the 2 burgers but still no hot dogs now you can only imagine what the blizzard and shake looked like after over 30 minutes waiting for food and still no dogs they looked at the receipt again and realized they were missing part of the order still I wanted a full refund but my wife was hungry and was willing to wait after another 5 minutes we got our food and was on our way with 4 sandwiches and 2 melted treats when we opened our burgers to our wonderful surprise there was no lettuce or tomatoes on our dressed cheeseburgers but we did get were 2 coupons for 1/4lb grill burgers, needless to say I will never be back, I hope that no one has to go through our experience and you have a great time...
