Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Town of Big Flats

Let me start this by simply saying I have been to several different Popeyes all over the country. I understand there are times when things happen. Having said this I'll get to the point. This Popeyes has singlehandedly made my fiance and I no longer fans of Popeyes chicken. We love little Nicky (some of You will get this!) it's the main reason I tried this tasty little chicken delight over the colonel. I mean face it the colonel is awesome but Popeyes is a very close second. ONLY BECAUSE OF THIS POPEYS. I have walked out with no service the last three times i have been there. First time ok yes it was busy I get it. Second time there wasn't even 5 people in total (including the drive through) then we left not even a word. Today was worse. There were 8 employees in total in the fried chicken hatchery and three Total customers yes ,one in the drive through, two inside. We were there for fifteen minutes as Karen (not mentioning real names) and Mikey had time to joke and the other 5 we're standing around talking about how much fun Susie's life was and how concerned they were with mikes attendance. (Again not real names.) At this point not once but 5 Times the same employee had walked to the counter and walked away. No hello no please wait one minute. Nothing. Not from one employee was there and kind of acknowledging gesture, word, hint,note,hell, even a look. I tried to speak as my anger started to bubble like the delicious looking Mac and cheese next to it's friendly fried chicken bestie. I wanted that chicken cheese duo so bad. So I bit my tongue and waited. Time dragged by like I was waiting on a pregnancy test result from a drunk night of bad decisions. I figured I was being impatient as my fiance told me to calm down a bit. I checked my wrist time indicator and yes 15 minutes and not one word to me or my fellow bald patron next to me. He too was agitated. I glanced out the window over at the Wendy's as she suggested I go to their place they also have chicken. I swallowed my lust for delicious spicy chicken sammiches with bubbly Mac n cheese and headed over to Wendy's. (This place had cars lined up into the POPEYS parking lot and people standing out the door.) Check it time stamp it 4pm sat October 15. We went into her humble abode and within ten minutes as busy as they were we had ordered our food recieved it and we're on our way. My fellow Popeyes chicken patron was still standing at the counter at Popeyes looking skinny and disgruntled. That's it I will not be going back to that Popeyes until something is done. My coworkers have worked me of the frozen service but I still keep going.due to service alone I will be number 8 of the saddened customers (not including my fiance)who will not be returning to the fried chicken prison. Ordered dinner w a friend was told to pull ahead. Never once did they say how long. After 25 min of waiting I went it they said 8 min. Annoyed but trying to be patient. 10 min goes by she said it won’t be long.. now I ask again still not ready . A lady orders food waits for it to be cooked receives it and leaves . Still I have no food. Half my order is ready I’m annoyed as part of my food is already cold still have not received my order. after 52 min of waiting I get agitated. And express how ridiculous this is ? Is this a normal thing I have order many times and never had such an experience while the staff working ignores me. So I I call my friend who’s waiting in my car w children. She tells me the work is complaining about me saying I’m arguing w her. After 52 I did not yell I expressed I was annoyed and should have had my food. When she came in I said I wouldn’t argue w you if my food was ready and you didn’t keep serving others while I wait who have been here after me. I don’t care if they are small orders I should never have to wait 52 min for fast food! She finally gets my food and offers me apple pie. I said seriously after 52 min you think apple pie makes this better I have half cold food and starving kids. Mind you I did not yell but was agitated. She says fine I’ll give you all your money. I said good you should. So by the time she attempts to refund my $ and I leave 63 min in a fast food restaurant! I do not plan on going back anytime soon. I think after all this they need to staff more efficiently and teach there staff not to ignore customers who are just trying to get there dinner. Mind you 96$ between my friend and I spent . And I’m the one getting grief for 1 hour and 3 min of my time. After I finally leave she thanks me for understanding. I’m not out of line food should not take this long. My kids are so disappointed that we will not be back as they love it here! Maybe I will try it again but I’m truly upset by how they didn’t think it was a big deal to wait so long and he ignored by staff. Placed an online/app order for the chambers road location in Elmira. Drive 25 minutes to the location. Get in the drive through line up. One car sits there for 2 minutes, then turns around and leaves. Another car sits there 3-4 minutes then pulls off and parks. The inget to the speaker and a voice says will you be using your bonus whatever. I said no, I am here for my order #12345 and then the pause. The pause lasts about 30 seconds. So I said hello, and then I can hear the background in the store. So I wait a minute or two assuming there is a issue with the speaker or ??. I then get tired of waiting as we're starving and pull around to the window. I peer in for a second and see a lady walking behind the service area so assume they are short handed and that someone will be there shortly. Another 6-7 minutes and no one comes. The lady is now walked off. I google the number and call the locating and after a couple rings a woman answers saying hello. I say hello, we have been waiting for about 10 or so minutes. She then says they are closed as they don't have anyone and there may be someone later.... I said say what??? I paid online how do I get my refund, the answer " I have no idea" came from her. I was just blown away after wasting 40 minutes of drive time and wait time to be told "I dunno". .. I googled for the customer service # and was brought to the chat as there was no number. It was automated so I left a message and the bot said I would hear back in 24-48 HOURS. I did receive a refund a short time later but what about the time, inconvenience, and making it so we had to completely change outlr plans as everyone was waiting to eat.
