I came in to get a 3 meat sampler (brisket moist and lean, and cheddar jalapeño) they always show me the meat before leaving. I admit it was my fault because it was super busy at this time and I was trying to get out of the way as quickly as possible. Shineeka showed me my platter but I didn’t see all the meat because the two cornbreads I ordered was on top of it. Again, I admit it was my fault for not paying attention. When I got home I noticed I only received Lean Brisket and not my moist one. I come here often so I know what both the lean and moist brisket looks like as well as the texture between both meats. I had called the restaurant to first say I’m sorry because it was so hectic I really wasn’t paying attention so I missed that I didn’t have moist brisket. She explained that she was the one who showed me it and that I gotten all 3 of my meats. I explained to her I only gotten the lean brisket because of the consistency of the mean and I doubt a 1/4 of lean is less then the four slices of meat I have. Then she went ahead to say “are you sure you didn’t just accidentally eaten it and you forgot?” I’m sorry what??? Excuse me ??? You really just said that to a customer??? First of all, No I didn’t just randomly eat it and forgot I did. Secondly, don’t talk to me like a child when you made a mistake. I explained to her I can send you a picture because I’m not one to lie, and I would have let it go but I paid $30 for this meal, and I don’t know about Shineeka but I like to get my moneys worth. I asked if I could send a picture, and instead of just trying to be apologetic for HER mistake, she said “No that’s okay, you can come in now and I’ll get you your free meat”. No, I Miss girl I’m home and comfy I’m not coming back and after her ATTITUDE towards me on the phone I ask to speak to a Supervisor or someone else because I’m not dealing with her and her attitude, then she said “Oh they are busy” which I understood because it is Veterens day. I told her I really would like speak to someone else because I don’t feel like being Gaslit by her anymore and it’s unprofessional. Then she offered a refund. Honestly at this point I didn’t care, and I was going to refuse so I can talk to some one other than Shineeka but she just saying either come get a 1/4 a moist or get a refund. She really refused to get me to someone else. I just said fine give me the refund. She said the refund was processed but let’s see if I actually get it, because she probably didn’t process it. I also took a picture of my food with the receipts and didn’t touch it until I finished writing this. I never had an experience like this ever before especially at this location. I’m sorry, even I’m craving brisket, I’m no longer going back there.

I went to this location July 5th around noon. I approached the register & there was a dark haired girl standing to the side of the register. After being there about 40 sec she said "Hi" I said "Hi" back. I know this franchise has food runners who sometimes strictly only get the food together. Since she didn't assist me at the register I assumed she didn't know how to cashier. At a separate register behind the one I was standing at I saw a girl and an older guy who's name I later learned was Bill (a manager) start typing in an order off of a piece of paper. They never looked at or acknowledged me. After roughly 1min passed (a total of 1min 50sec now) a girl came from the bathroom, greeted me and was ready to take my order. I was somewhat annoyed at this point, but placed my order for a 1/2lb of moist brisket & a regular sized macaroni. I wasn't rude just dry because of the lack of acknowledgement. Once my order was placed I moved to the side. The dark haired girl asked while I was waiting if I wanted sauce. I let her know that I was okay and didn’t want any. She then walked away. After a few moments more patrons came into the establishment. I then saw the dark haired (maybe Hispanic) girl take their order. I was highly annoyed. When my food runner got my food together I said to her loudly so that girl (the dark haired one) knew how to take orders the entire time and decided to just stand there looking around and not help me? Okay.. I then left. 1/3 of my half pound brisket was uneatable fat. This was not my first time at this location, but definitely will be my last at this one. Customer service across the board usually slacks but this was the worst. Normally I can at least receive a solid meal.

My husband and son loved it on our 1st visit, for me it was just meh. 2nd visit, i actually felt a little bummed they wanted to eat here. Ended up with a salad, $4.99 (pre-made, ordered with no tomatoes so they remived them) and I added brisket (extra $2.99, which seemed pricy for the amout that was on the salad) Personally, i don't care for any of the 6 bbq sauces, we tried a meat sampler on our 1st visit. They were out of several meats, i didn't like the sausage, the pork and chicken were ok but not awesome, brisket was hit or miss. The salad was... a salad, nothing special, all i tasted was the cabbage. I had ranch with it, not sure if its a southwest ranch but it had a likick to it. The mac and cheese was good, fries ok. I told my hubby and son that its officially a boys time place, if i never come back I'm ok with it. That being said, it's my personal opinion. They there continuously busy, a very steady line on our 1st visit and a pretty consistent line on our 2nd. Most ppl seemed very happy with their meals. Love the theme and mission, just not a big fan of the food.

Mission BBQ is an absolute treasure for BBQ lovers! From the moment you walk through the doors, you’re greeted with the mouthwatering aroma of smoked meats and a vibrant, welcoming atmosphere that feels like home. The decor pays tribute to our heroes, featuring heartfelt military memorabilia that adds a unique touch to the dining experience.

The menu is a delightful exploration of barbecue flavors, offering a wide range of smoked meats cooked to perfection. Their brisket is truly exceptional—smoky, juicy, and packed with flavor. The pulled pork is another standout, incredibly tender and deliciously seasoned. Don’t miss the ribs; they’re tender and fall-off-the-bone good, with a perfect glaze that strikes the right balance between sweet and savory.

What really sets Mission BBQ apart is their commitment to quality and freshness. Everything is made to order, and you can taste the dedication in each bite. The selection of house-made sauces is impressive, from the tangy vinegar-based sauce to the spicy options, allowing you to customize your meal to your heart’s content.

The sides are equally noteworthy! The mac and cheese is creamy and rich, while the coleslaw provides a refreshing crunch that complements the hearty meats. And if you’re feeling adventurous, definitely try their baked beans; they’re a comforting side with a delightful kick.

The staff at Mission BBQ are friendly and attentive, making you feel like part of the family. They’re always eager to offer recommendations or share the story behind their dedication to serving great BBQ. Plus, the restaurant’s commitment to supporting local first responders and military personnel adds an inspiring layer to your dining experience.

Overall, Mission BBQ is a must-visit for anyone who appreciates authentic, mouthwatering barbecue in a warm and inviting setting. I can’t recommend it highly enough—every visit is a celebration of flavor, community, and gratitude. I’m already counting down the days until...
