Dear God, this place is a mess.
My friends and I are supposed to be groomsmen in an upcoming wedding and our interaction with this location was unorganized to say the least. We went to this location in mid February asking to conduct measurements and get fitted for our tuxedos at noon on a Sunday. The greeter told us they were short staffed, did not have enough time, and that if we came back after getting some lunch they would be able to measure us. We came back after lunch that same day to the same greeter telling us that after further review they could not get us fitted, but that we could get measured and come back to get fitted at a later time. He later conducted the measurements and gave us the sheets to bring back when we are to get fitted.
And this is where the fun began.
On a Sunday in mid March while the business was open, I called to reserve a fitting time sometime later that week. No one picked up the phone and I left a voicemail for them with a callback number. On Monday (the next day) I registered via email for a fitting for my friends at 6pm on Tuesday, to which I received a confirmation email. On Tuesday at 5:30pm I entered the store and talked to the same greeter that fitted my friends in mid-February to see if the everything was good to go for the 6pm fitting. The greeter rolled their eyes and replied "Yeah. Sure.", showing skepticism that I made any reservation even after I showed him the email confirmation. When my friends arrived and we all entered the store, the same greeter that fitted my friends in mid-Februrary refused to acknowledge any reservation made and refused to acknowledge that we had ever been to that store before. The greeter even went to the extent to say "I've never seen these men before in my life" and then immediately recognized his own handwriting from the measurement forms and said "Ah yes Friend's name welcome back". He then said there was not enough tailors within the store and that we would have to come back later that night. So after 3 stops within the store, hours of driving, and 3 hours wasted waiting to get fitted, we finally were fitted in 15 minutes by the store manager.
The lack of communication and active gaslighting by the staff of this establishment is the perfect explanation as to why there are only one of these stores in Wisconsin. If you want better ratings have a phone...
Read moreThis used to be a great store years ago. Very knowledgeable employees, good prices (phony sales) but that's ok. I recently went to get two sport coats and got a new employee that was very friendly but needed help from the manager. He knew clothes, just not the store layout and systems quite yet. He was the only good part of the process. Finally found my size but the one's I wanted had to be ordered and shipped to my house. When I checked out, they overcharged me and I corrected them. The sport coats never came to my house and I had to call the store, they were shipped there. I went in to pick them up knowing the sleeves had to be altered. They said it would take two weeks due to the lack of a full-time tailor. They did call me and I picked up the coats. Turns out one was tailored and one was not. On the tag, someone had written, NO MARKS, meaning they couldn't see the fitter's mark. I went back to the store and showed them. Finally found someone to mark the suit. Took it up front to a lady associate who I have seen there for many years and she is always good. I noticed that one sleeve was now marked to be taken up an inch and the other 2-3 inches. She made me put it back on and she marked it correctly. I wanted to get it the next day, but she said they have a tailor problem and since he worked Saturday, he can't work Monday. I believe he is well over 70. The store has now a confusing layout and has looked like a liquidator is in there prepping for sale. A work desk sits in the back of the store for some reason. It seems to be an issue of training and turnover. I will say, though, that everyone has been very friendly. They seem to be understaffed and tend to hand you off to others in the store so they can try to serve all the customers. We NEED a store like this in the area. I hope things...
Read moreOne of the absolute worst shopping experiences ever. I have never owned a suit in my life but I know what a great sales experience looks like. A good friend of mine is getting married soon so we both needed to buy some suits. I made it very clear that I have never owned a suit and would need help figuring out color, style, and accessories. The salesperson asked me what my favorite color was and I said blue. He shows me the "blue" section and then has to run off and do something. (At this moment in time there are a total of four customers in the store and MINIMUM five employees.) So here I am looking at these suits not really knowing anything about what fabric or pattern I would like. He finally comes back and says "so have we decided" and awkwardly stand there. I tell him I still haven't decided and he continues to just stand around for a moment. Up to this point he has only asked what type of event I need the suit for. He never asked me any lifestyle questions, didn't offer recommendations, never went over vests or any other suit accessories. I don't know what I was expecting, but this place was NOT it. I still bought a suit out of necessity, but I regret giving them any money. I may not know the best place to buy a suit but I can assuredly tell you that this place is the worst place. I firmly believe Express in the mall will offer you a far better customer experience. Avoid this place...
