This store has gone way downhill in terms of customer service.
Amy that works in framing is lazy and did not want to put wire on the back of a frame that I bought from Hobby Lobby! She came up with excuse after excuse and finally when I called her on it she said she was going to charge me $10 each instead of the three dollars each that I've paid in the past for the EXACT SAME FRAME.
When I spoke with the assistant manager Kimberly she was worthless and just smiled and said I'm sorry that's too bad over and over! She seemed to enjoy not trying to find the logical solution, but to tell me she wasn't going to help me. I came to the realization that Kimberly obviously knew that Amy was lazy, but that she was going to put her friendship for Amy over doing the right thing for the customers...
I think they need to read the book that they push and maybe reevaluate the founders objectives at Hobby lobby. There are plenty of other places to shop and I will not utilize Hobby Lobby...
Read moreExcellent staff, Chris being my first employee ever talked to at a hobby lobby as I dont think I've ever personally been inside this store before. He was very eager and super helpful for no reason other than to help. Very good guy, when I had a question he couldn't solve, he quickly got his coworker Jenny from jewelry to finish helping me. She is fantastic as well. I asked Jenny what their main managers names were and she said Jennifer and Andrew. On my way out I let Andrew know how wonderful Chris and Jenny are to have as employees and he was very pleasant to speak with as well. Jennifer and Andrew seemed like great bosses. Employees Chris and Jenny were great enough to pause my day and go look for their manager(s) and let them know how they did. Great store. At least at the only location I've been to so far which is on bluemound road in Brookfield....
Read moreThere's a very racist employee at this location named Reyna (listed on the receipt). We watched her treat 3 caucasian customers before us with the utmost respect, however when having to assist African-American customers her entire demeanor changed.
It's absolutely rude to place someone's money and receipt on the counter versus in their hand, when it's clearly extended. Especially after I placed the original receipt in YOUR hand.
Also, it's rude to be condescending when someone wants to return a product. Especially when the product was purchased less than 10 minutes before requesting the return. It's also rude to play on your watch, versus focusing on entering the correct information into the computer.
I absolutely love hobby lobby, but I don't like this location and wouldn't be back. It's not a welcoming experience...
