A Alright Google Reviewers, buckle up for a good one…
Pretext: We had a family emergency and we all had to drive down for Minneapolis to Milwaukee. Everything in Milwaukee closes early. My family is tired, hungry and distraught because of the family emergency. We looked for a place to go and sit down, and the only place in our vicinity was this Olive Garden. We Understand that the Olive Garden closes in an hour and five minutes so we had second thoughts of going, because, We didn’t want to be “those customers “. there is no other food nearby to sit down and have a warm meal so we opted for this tonight.
this is where the story begins…
There’s 6 of us. all adults. We walk into the Olive Garden at 9:10 PM. They close at 10 PM. Yes, we know they close in 50minutes but we already looked on the menu to know that we want to order, so we could, sit down, order, eat, get out before close.
We walk in. And the atmosphere was nice. Clean interior. But there’s no staff to be found. We’re standing at the front. And finally the front of house manager who is sitting in the bar looks up and sees us. He slowly walks over, grab a couple, menus some forks, and brings us to the corner table in the back.nice guy, tells us to enjoy our meal.
Nice guy, tells us to enjoy our meal. Again, I understand it’s 45 minutes before close. We already have our meals picked out, and we’re planning to be fast.
So we’re sitting At our table, waiting for a waitress, or waiter, to come and assist us. We literally waited for at least 15 minutes before the waitress came to our table. No greeting, no smile. But a direct “so do we all know what we want to order? “
Didn’t bring Anything to drink, except she asked us directly what we wanted to drink with our meals. Kind of odd because I’m used to the waitress, bringing waters before hand, but I wasn’t going to say anything about it.
While we’re ordering our food. She keeps correcting us on what they have available and pretty much makes our meals for us and tells us what we want.
Waitress seems annoyed, snippy, direct, and it’s obvious she wants us to get in and out before closing time.
After she places our orders, we’re sitting there for about 10 minutes until drinks. Finally get to us. Water is lukewarm. Barely any ice cubes In any of them. Diet Coke was flat.
Oh yeah and the breadsticks and bottomless salad and soup. There was a bottom to it. After the first round. She never asked if we wanted more or I never saw extras.
Our food came. It was about lukewarm, overall, the pasta wasn’t bad. We all ordered quick Alfredo easy to make so that we can get in and out.
time that the food came out, it’s about 9:50 PM. we have 10 minutes to eat. We get it we have to go. But if they didn’t take 25 minutes to ask what we wanted. We would’ve been in and out by 9:45 PM.
One of my family members asked for pepper flakes, and she said she would go and grab it. After she gave us our food she left and never came back. We ate our food and by this time it’s 10:05 PM. We’re over closing time and we already feel bad, but there are no refills on any of our drinks. The waitress is not to be found. And the bottomless soup and salad was never refilled.
10:10 PM, we still don’t know where our waitress is.
There’s a little console in the middle that you can pay from them. So we were intuitive enough to find our tab on the console, and we all paid our tabs.
10:15 PM and we’re leaving we stacked all of our plates to make it an easier cleanup consolidated all the trash into one bowl and wipe down the table so we went to hold them any longer. As we’re walking out, we surprisingly see our waitress walking towards the table to collect the tab.
no goodbye as we’re leaving and we all exited the facility.
This was literally the worst customer service I’ve ever had in my life.
Thanks for coming...
Read moreI had 2 poor experiences at this location. One day I went in and it was very busy. I sat at the bar because I was alone and ordered a drink. It got more crowded(people on either side of me and even standing behind me.) I noticed no one was seated at the tables near the bar and asked the bartender if he could bring my order to the table if I moved to the nearby table. He replied looking very stressed and said I could move but there was no server over there. I asked why he couldn't just bring it to the table and he said it would be somewhat of an inconvenience. I looked around and saw 3 or 4 employees at the door "greeting" people. Smh I asked for the bill and left. It wasn't even an enjoyable experience.....the employees standing at the door didn't even wish me a good day. I get around the state for work quite a bit and I can say this is the worst location because they always seem short staffed and unpleasant. The other day I was in the area and stopped at this location again, hoping last time it was just an off day. It was the same bartender. I'm not sure if he remembered I didn't tip him or if he is just a rude person......I ordered a drink and asked for soup to go and ordered breadsticks but he shorted me the 2 that shoulda came with the soup already. And no smile, no conversation, just plain bad service. If you have the time to travel I'd HIGHLY recommend going to the location on 76th in Greenfield. They have always been very friendly and don't seem scared of a busy day and I've always left saying I want to go back and see...
Read more2nd trip 03/20/19 How can you go wrong with Olive Garden "Italian?" Okay, it's not true Italian. But damn it is tasty. My wife and I go often for dates and never have a bad experience. We even got a free drink, and follow up from the head chef because the credit card reader didn't work right. I have zero complaints about Olive Garden, and it is always worth the wait times. I recommend scheduling a reservation because they get busy at some strange times.

One more for the win column. Olive Garden never disappoints. The food is always good and the staff is always friendly. My debit card didn't work at the bar for some reason, so the manager comped my glass of wine. The issue was resolved by the time dinner was done, so no sweat. As usual, we ordered too much food, but by happy accident, our server didn't write down our appetizer order. We didn't receive it, we weren't charged for it, and honestly, we couldn't have eaten it anyway! My wife loves their Chicken Marsala, and I tried something new; the braised beef Gorgonzola Alfredo. Delicious! Their table red is better than their rosé, in my opinion, and their desserts are always delicious. Of course, you can never go wrong with their salad and bread sticks, which we had plenty of. I recommend calling ahead and making a reservation, because anytime we've done a walk in there is usually a bit of a wait (only 25 minutes on this occasion.) If you like Italian(ish) food and great customer service,...
