I've been seeing a lot of people who dislike the service of this place. If you want no mistakes or issues you need to go inside the store, otherwise what you receive might be hit or miss. I've personally been in the drive thru many times and had great service but then stopped doing that when a high schooler filled ice to the top of my soda cup and filled the soda halfway up the ice. Ever since then I've had no problems.
Giving 5 stars because I come here to eat only when I am on a budget and want something sweet and savory. The review here is more on the establishment as opposed to the actual food being served because, come on, it's flipping panda express. I'm not expecting 5 star chinese fine dining.
When I walk in (which you should always do, you get better service), the place looks clean, the staff looks clean, and food is being actively prepared in the back, which you can see. Their lower ordered food is made in limited batches to prevent it from getting gross from sitting on the warmers for potentially hours of no one eating it. You can still order it if there's none on the heater, you'll just have to wait like 10-15 mins, which is fine because it's fresh.
Depending on the server/cashier, you might get your plate/bowl loaded with your entree, but they typically do not skimp on anything. The rice is definitely loaded up in there though, and if you're willing to voice your desires respectfully, they are usually receptive and will add a little more or less of what you want.
I think their bathrooms may be closed still due to covid, but I always get takeout so I don't care about that.
My go to balanced order is the plate with the first entree being orange chicken, the second entree being broccoli beef, and the side being fried rice. I usually ask for a little more broccoli because I use it to balance the sweetness of the orange chicken out so I don't feel gross after I eat all that food. If I'm not starving, it can sometimes last me 1 and a...
Read moreUsually the food is great... if you can get some. We went to this location at 8pm (closes at 830pm) and were greeted in the drive thru with... we are closing soon, some items are not available. Okay, so I ask, "Do you have the honey walnut shrimp?" No, we don't she tells me. All three of us love the shrimp and would have chosen that as one of our selections. So... I drove off.
I have worked in many restaurants over the years and if people came in 5 minutes before close, the expectation was always to accommodate the guest. I guess this does not apply to Panda Express. I realize that everything is made fresh, but you need to figure something out to be able to accommodate what people want, even a half hour before close. You lost my business Panda, most likely for the future as well, and of course I will make sure to tell my friends and family not to expect to get what they want if its any time close to an hour before close. I'm not driving to Panda locations anymore to find out half the menu isn't available. Culver's always comes through so bye bye Panda.
We love Panda Express, but with 2 kids in multiple sports, we usually eat later in the evening after games and practices. On more than one occasion, in general and at several locations, starting about an hour before close, they don't have certain items available. Usually we deal with it and pick something available but honestly?? I'm sick of driving there if half the menu is not available an hour, half an hour before close. I shouldn't have to "settle" for something I don't want when I'm paying the same amount as I would if I got what I actually wanted. Thumbs...
Read moreHorrible experience. The Asian man that works the drive thru (LAR, if that's his real name) Every time I pull up to the drive thru, he's very condescending and always sarcastic. Anyhow, I usually don't say anything because I like Panda Express. This time I asked for a plate (2 meats) and I was told by him that one of the meats was extra. Mind you, I always get that same meat in a bowl and I was either never charged or I was never told it was extra. And that's exactly what I told him. He responded with "well, they're doing it incorrectly then" I said, ok, well you're doing it incorrectly because you're the one that always takes my order. He said no I don't. I said "ok, what's your name" and he responded in the most sarcastic tone "Lar, that's L -A-R, what's your name?" I told him he didn't need to know my name, however, I wanted to speak to the manager. And he proceeded to say "we don't have one". I said oh really? Well, I'm just gonna have to call Corporate then, and he said "Go ahead". I told him that his attitude was rude and if he didn't like working at Panda Express, he should find another job. And again, in the most rude and laughing at me kind of way, he said "I'm sorry" and proceeded to laugh. I told him, "no you're not because that's your attitude every time I come here". So then as I was driving away, he said "byyyyeeeee" laughing into the speaker. I don't know why you would let an employee with that kind of attitude run the drive thru, he obviously has no customer service skills. Because of him, I will never frequent that...
