My boyfriend and I decided to have breakfast at this place today, I am Latina and I have lived in this country for 22 years. I have never had a communication problem with anyone because of one. I am bilingual, my boyfriend is American. Well we arrived and sat down and the waitress who served us was very rude to me. I asked for eggs benedic but without potatoes. Instead I wanted bacon. She started saying that she didn't know what she was saying and that she didn't understand and in the end she said to me 3 times. Have you ever in your life eaten eggs benedic? I said yes, that's why I'm ordering them today. Short story. The lady made me feel so miserable. In a few minutes, it's a shame that one works and is going to spend money in a place so that the waiters or cook bring food to their house. Imagine you are in a little diner. This is your first time there. The most expensive sandwich on the menu is 17 dollars. You want a hero with 2 slices of turkey, scrambled eggs, 2 slices of tomato and 2 slices of cheese. with a cup of tea. Guess how many dollars you pay for the bill? $32.60 I was really shocked. When I told them that the bill was expensive, they told "you randomly created a sandwich" and I was handed a bill to sign in a hurry. It was really a terrible experience. When you go here make sure you ask them what you will pay at the end of the day so you don't get ripped off? If you hadn't ripped me off I would have recommended you to many of my friends and would visit you again. You gave up 100-150 dollars of future income to make 10-15 dollars more. I have always had a pleasant experience at this establishment,except for recently. The last time was it for me,I will not be going back. First off the food is not what it used to be & the portions are way too small. Than we have the wonderful service. The blonde waitress needs to be fired and the couple that owns the place could care less about you, the husband just wants to joke around with the regulars. Than I had to request silverware and napkins because clearly they weren't going to offer. To top it off i was completely ignored, was not checked on,no coffee refill etc. After my empty plate was sitting for 10 minutes the check was thrown on the table. Is my money not good enough?
