Country Cottage Diner — Restaurant in Town of Brookhaven

First off, Brianna was our waitress and she essentially became the definition of what hospitality should be. We were welcomed, engaged, and well taken care off. Her knowledge of the items on the menu helped us decide what to get, she obviously likes where she works as well as the food. Its always good to know that the people genuinely love the food where they work. Again how absolutely pleasant and welcoming she was made our hour stay feel like it was only 10 mins. Time flys...

Now for the food. I ordered the California burger and it was enormous. I have a big mouth and it was hard for me to try and take a full bite of this burger, I still managed to though.. but the exquisite taste of the burger, all the different elements working in tandem to deliver a spectacular sensation of flavor was divine. I didn't even touch my French fries, because the burger was so amazing and filling, that I didn't want to take away from it by over indulging and running the risk of ruining the meal by feeling bloated.

Due to covit seating is limited and I guess not as many people are eating out in the diners and restaurants, so it was a little too quiet. But again Brianna and the cook came out and were conversing with my wife and I, and it felt like a complete meal with friends.

If you haven't eaten here yet, definitely give it a try. If you have then you know what they offer. Go in on a Tuesday and make sure you give Brianna and big hello and enjoy your meal, and walk away with a big smile on your face for the rest of the day.

Country Cottage Diner is a gem! I’ve had many amazing breakfasts here and had yet to review. I got to visit on Monday October 21 for breakfast with my brother and we were seated right away and had a wonderful waitress. My brother ordered from lunch menu and I got a yummy breakfast, it was perfect! The coffee was also great and the prices are ideal. My wife and I were seated as we walked in. Excellent food for the cost. You have a full view of the kitchen, so you can watch the chef as he cooks. I run into the chef in town from time to time. He is a very nice person and always smiles when he greets you. I believe there are 12 tables to sit at. There is one hour parking on the street or you can park in the public parking area.
