IHOP — Restaurant in Town of Brookhaven

Ordered a quick meal for 2 as I didn’t feel like cooking. After the employee couldn’t get my order correct using their register and eventually had to call someone to help, I SHOULD’VE RAN OUT!!!! They didn’t have 1 item I ordered so they gave me an extra meal & acted as I should’ve been grateful. I Would’ve preferred a refund. After an exhausting day at work, I had no energy to demand a refund!The extra meal was greasy looking, definitely not appealing, perhaps someone’s left over. I get home and my order was wrong. It was a waste of time and money. They need a more experienced staff or more training!!! It was truly DISGUSTING! 2 stars for some effort. 2nd time having an issue and there will not be a 3rd!!!!!

There was a 3rd time sadly so. The location is a convenience. Wrong order again. This time I was promised a refund. Despite multiple calls and still no refund. Called guest relations spoke with an awful person named Joey that repeatedly cut me off mid sentence. I will allow another week for my refund and if not given I will proceed with actions. I have been nothing but polite. I feel robbed! Yelp...

i had the most terrible breakfast experience this morning my server taylor was very rude as i was telling her my breakfast order she constantly rollled her eyeswas very slow at getting my drinks i also over heard her speaking about black people to the host with black hair i felt very uncomfortable i believe her name starts with an L i tried to look on my way out the door but i didn’t catch her whole name tag .. this location is so different than any on the east end, i will not be returning back it was a total terrible experience. as a black woman how dare the server speak poorly about my skin color …. racism is still in effect in 2024 and that is SAD !!!!!!! she also repeatly tried to force drinks down my throat when i kept telling her no and i could see on her face she was upset that i didn’t want any refills ..or fresh orange juice .. idk guys this was just weird NEVER again . oh and my coffee tasted like it was new coffee mixed with old coffee i also asked for fruit for my daughter it was ROTTEN. just...

7pm on a Tuesday night. Not a sole in the restaurant. That should have been our clue to run away fast. My wife, me and my 3 year old son at the mesfore location. The food was awful. Everything was either tasteless or sour tasting. While eating pur horrible food, we got to smell strong chemical as an employee mopped the floors next to us.

My wife puked on the way home. My son puked on the way home. I did not puke but my stomach still hurts the following day.

Im EXTREMELY curious to know what kind of food standards are being upheld while a restaurant is empty. Are food items left out not properly cooled on the line? Curious if anyone at the time in the restaurant was ServSafe certified and had Suffolk Food Handlers Certification because the taste and after effects of the food screams contamination!!!

I also filed a complaint with the board of health so expect a visit from them.
