👍 The most brightly lit hotel room I have ever had. Reading and composing was so much better during my stay. ❤️❤️❤️ I very much enjoyed the free hot breakfast buffet. Excellent biscuits, great blackberry compote, vegetarian sausage (heart friendly and delicious), three cheese egg soufflé muffins …. So much better than the hot breakfast choices at other Marriott brand hotels I have stayed at. Mediterranean cooking involves never combining fats and carbs in the same meal. One or the other. Proteins and fat choices available. Separate from carbs and veggie choices. Chef did an excellent job of providing healthy delicious choices. Very safe feeling throughout this area. No homeless seen anywhere. NOT having human body stench lingering on walkways in villages has been noticeable. The school systems and parents are doing something right to prevent homelessness. There are no ocean views from the hotel. Trees on the South, and industrial buildings mixed with trees on the North side. However, the central location is great to explore from. ‼️ Drive the posted Speed Limits, police are very active here. Centrally located on Long Island, we drove to Montauk Point and lighthouse. The Atlantic Ocean is calming; see attached video. There is quite a bit of upscale 1930s style architecture on Long Island. Patchogue city is nearby and is a nice town full of restaurants and a few coffee shops. Recommended local restaurant: Lindo Mexico, Mexican restaurant 58 S Ocean Ave, Patchogue, NY 11772 Lindo Mexico restaurant had a very good vegetarian option. Vegetarian corn and jalapeño Tamales, and their Vegetarian burrito Mixing bites of tamales with forked bites of burrito was very delicious. The table green sauce (not spicy) was good, and I used 1/2 a bottle on my meal. I also used a lesser amount of the table hot sauce, also better than usually found in a restaurant. The Tamarind soda was a welcome new flavor experience for me. My stay here continues to be enjoyable.

Visited this hotel multiple times in the past, and it was great. Friendly and pleasant service. Clean rooms, and nice environment. The last two visits have been subpar. This visit the room was not clean. There is a crack in the shower, which would be fine things happen, but it's not being properly cleaned, as you can see in the photo. There is a huge cobweb in the ceiling. I went to the front desk to ask for tea bag. On my walk down the hall, I could smell smoke 🚬 in the hall, which was the same on my last visit. When I got to the front, no one was at the desk, but there was a security guard sitting at a table. He could not locate the front desk employee. I waited roughly 10 minutes and gave up, I left and went to 7 Eleven. When I returned, I came in a side door that was broken/rigged not to lock so people can step outside for a smoke and reenter, which is a safety issue because anyone can walk in. In the morning we went for breakfast, which was pretty good in my previous visit. This time it was ok. The eggs were cold, the yogurt was frozen, and the employee decided not to leave the cooking spray out for the waffle maker so they would get stuck constantly. She told my wife, "I sprayed it before." The kicker was a guest letting in a friend, who was very antsy like a drug addict. She filled her pockets with various items, then spoke with the friend for about 2min than walked out to a friend waiting outside to share the spoils. I will not come back to this location anymore. It's a shame I really like this location for a local getaway. I have been atleast 8 times previously. I wish the previous staff was still here.

The hotel is a 15-minute drive from Islip Airport and around a 25-minute drive to the West Hampton Airport. There isn’t much within walking distance but a few restaurants within a few minutes’ drive. The staff was kind and got me checked in quickly and even made me a to go breakfast bag since I departed early. The room was clean and modern and the bed was really comfortable. The bathroom was clean and had the standup shower separate from the toilet into two different rooms. Nice for multiple guest but maybe annoying for a single guest. If you’re a light sleeper request a room not facing the entrance since the AC units are there. They aren’t loud but could be for a light sleeper. Other Amenities: - Free WIFI - Indoor pool was closed for maintenance - Fitness Room - Laundry room - Pullout couch - Mini fridge and microwave - Full hot breakfast All amenities were open during my stay with no restrictions. The hotel encouraged social distancing and has an optional mask policy for fully vaccinated guests and required a mask for unvaccinated guests.

I wish 0 starts was an option. This was by far the worst experience my new husband and I have ever had at any hotel in all our years. The property is run down, the rooms are small, poorly lit, and most refrigerators are not running. TVs in the rooms also were not working. Many rooms smelled intensely of smoke, and the halls were covered in garbage 24-7. The rooms clearly are not cleaned prior to guests staying there, as there was toothpaste all over our bathroom and various bugs and spider webs in corners of the room. My husband and I spent 4 nights here for our wedding, as this is the closest hotel to where we were getting married, and we had booked a hotel block well before covid, that we had to move twice. Each time they had less and less rooms available, which is understandable, we were the ones forced to move our wedding twice, we cannot expect the hotel to accommodate that. However, they incorrectly wrote up our contract the third time, forcing many of our guests to be without a room as they removed our block earlier than the contract said. In addition to this, for the guests that were staying at the hotel for the wedding, we wanted to ensure each guest got a hotel gift bag we had put together. We confirmed with the front desk several times, and they showed us the block of rooms and where our guests were all staying, only to then put them all on different floors. They claimed our guests checked in late or early, which was 100% incorrect, and therefore caused significant chaos for the entire weekend. Half our guests were on all different floors, all because the staff was completely unorganized. There were no amenities and no accommodations made for guests who were forced to stay in run down rooms. One guest had medication that needed to be refrigerated, of course, the mini-fridge did not work. The staff asked them to give the medicine to the front desk to hold - completely unacceptable and irresponsible of a staff member to offer to illegally hold medication for a person. Speaking of the staff again, not only were they incompetent, but they were also nasty and significantly rude. There was only one staff member who was kind, and unfortunately, we were unable to get his name. This hotel (although motel would be a more apt name for this property) is very aware that they are the closest overnight accommodations area to many venues that service parties, weddings, and big events and therefore they clearly know they can charge whatever they want and provide minimal service. Our sound advice, along with the advice of the other 12 guests we had stay at this facility - if you're going in this direction and need a place to stay, find anywhere else, or just stay home. This facility and the way they treat humans is completely...

I booked this hotel for a wedding I was attending this weekend (9.15-9.17) as they reserved a room block. TRASHY and doesn't resemble a Marriott property at all.||* Leah at the front desk wasn't paying attention to what she was doing so the 3 keys she issued for a 4th floor room didn't work because IT WAS THE WRONG ROOM. She also assumed because my aunt (mother of the groom) and I were talking, that we had already checked in. There was only one person at the desk before she came to help customers and that person was helping my aunt.|-- |* The condition of the hotel of was subpar. Burnt out sections of carpet by the elevators. Things looked dirty and dingy. |The room had visible stains on the couch and curtains. The ac vent was also broken.|--|ISSUES: Fire alarm went off at 117am Saturday morning 9.16 - the morning of the wedding. It was blaring for over 30 mins. People were just standing around in the hallway, not knowing what was going on. We rushed out and someone said that a guest was smoking in their room and it was a false alarm but the alarm itself continued blaring. If it was a real fire, we'd all be dead. It then went off again near 2am - the fire department was on site and they had the fire truck on and making noise which we could hear in our room, while also talking and laughing among themselves. If it's a false alarm, how about turning the truck off or better yet, realize it's past 2am and people need to sleep? ||Needless to say, nobody attending the wedding at 11am that day got any rest. We woke up at 7am to start getting ready. Breakfast was subpar. ||We come back to the hotel post reception and after party at between 10-11pm and the fire alarm goes off AGAIN right as we walk into our room with dinner. Had to go back out and wait around for an answer as to what was happening which didn't seem to phase the staff as they were behaving extremely nonchalantly. Seems someone was smoking in their room AGAIN. |-- | Elevators were down almost the whole weekend and the ice machines were broken on every floor except the first. |---|Overall - wouldn't recommend nor stay here ever again. Trashy dirty hotel, more like a motel. Not worth the price per night. Didn't sleep the whole weekend because of idiocy and poor management. ||I contacted Marriott for a refund on 9.19 - spoke with Cara who sent the request to the hotel. She sent it with the wrong email address so the hotel closed it with no resolution. Spoke with Chantelle on 9.29 who sent another request to the hotel - haven't heard back as yet. Hoping to get a response and refund for this visit because it honestly ruined the weekend and wedding...
