Savers — Local services in Town of Brookhaven

Nice thrift shop on a larger scale compared to most. Mixed review if you'll read why...I give 4** stars for the overall quality of the merchandise and large inventory selection, although they don't carry enough electronic goods. Purchased a Krups coffee maker which has been working great since I bought it last week. Other items I've had good success with. That's the reasoning of my 4 stars for the most part.

Now comes the 1*STAR- STOP PUTTING THE PACKING TAPE WITH ALL THAT ADHESIVE ON ITEMS THAT IT WON'T COME OFF AND OR DAMAGE IT. The Krups carafe had the tape on it to hold it to the machine. I tried Goof Off, acetone, WD-40, and finally had to use paint thinner to remove it off the glass!! Very frustrating. There have been other items where the employees have placed the price tag directly on an item which have damaged items that either I've bought or passed up on. Just wished they'd think before doing something stupid. I once bypassed a leather coat where they actually pierced the leather with a plastic tie that held the price...

If there was a negative review I think I would have given that. I purchased a fully-taped hand mixer, took it home only to find out that one of the mix falls off and isn’t in place and the other has one of the metal broken. This is absolutely fraudulent and deceptive I can’t even comprehend. Why would you not display the item as is?? Why does the item has been be cello-taped to hide how malformed it is. If the hand mixer was displayed as is, there was no way I would purchased it. Savers Medford is such a fraud and what you did is truly disgusting. I called only for the supposed manger to say I can’t return it. I didn’t request for a refund which obviously they don’t do but a replacement and I was told “no”. Shame on all parties involved for being such a sham...

In the Magazine area they selling the free Lidl food magazines you get at Lidl.. for $1.25 that's so low. An then the lady that works there that stocks the shelves butted her mouth in had the nerve to say just because it's up there doesn't mean it's worth anything. Lady of course it ain't worth anything Lidl gives them out free for there shoppers. An since it ain't worth anything there shouldn't be a price of $1.25 on it point blank. I like savers but lidl food magazines shouldn't be sold they are Free at your local lidl. An lady stay mad! no one cares what you say i was making a point talking with another customer not you.
