L'anatra Pizza and Kitchen — Restaurant in Town of Brookhaven

We happened to be in the neighborhood and randomly stopped at this pizza shop for a slice few weeks ago and we were so glad we did. Since then I and wife said let’s visit this pizza shop whenever we are in this neighborhood:) . So today we made our second visit for a proper sit down pizza lunch. I am a big fan of simple pepperoni pizza and their’s is one of the best I have had in a long time. Crust is perfectly done, thin and crispy on the side and perfectly holds all the ingredients without falling off the slice. Tomato source is very tasty as it supposed to be and I could tell someone really knows how to do it and is doing it right. Try their garlic knots which are delicious as well, I could taste fresh garlic and herbs. After being satisfied with our lunch we wanted to thank the pizza chef.. and had opportunity to speak the Gentlemen with a big smile and very friendly.. who is named Frank, who is from Sicily with beautiful Italian accent. He gave us a brief introduction of his background from Sicily and took us on a verbal virtual tour around Sicily. After met and got to know him I am not surprised they have such tasty Italian dishes. Editing my review. I placed an order over the phone at 8:36pm. I asked the girl how long and she promptly hung up. Okay fine maybe she didn’t hear me. My boyfriend arrived at 9pm to pick up our order and the guy behind the counter said a few minutes. 30 minutes later still no food. Our daughter was screaming crying and he didn’t leave because he was told a few more minutes. Another customer came in who had placed an order and they told him it’ll be 30 minutes. I placed an order for two heroes. This is the second time it happened where my order was placed ahead of time and after arriving I had to wait 30+ minutes. The first time it happened I placed the order on the slices app and it said it was ready before I arrived. No one says anything either. You just sit there. No apologies nothing. Sorry won’t be coming back.

Delicious. Ordered a vodka chicken parm meatball parm Greek salad and rice balls. Some of the best vodka sauce I’ve ever had. The bread was perfectly toasted. Can’t wait to order again. This place is incredible! I have never had such a great customer service experience at a pizza place. I went a few days ago and loved the atmosphere and how friendly the man at the counter was. I had a delicious vodka margarita slice with mozzarella they make in-house!! Yesterday my boyfriend and I had a late night and needed a place open late to grab food. I remembered this place had a sign that they were open til 1 am (thank god, all the pizza places around here close so early!!) so we stopped by at around 12:30. They were clearly wrapping up after a slow night, but the owner was accommodating and encouraged us to let him make us some fresh specialty pizza! He made us half buffalo and half vodka margarita, and one regular slice - all fresh. He was super cool and friendly the whole time - which has been my opposite experience at the other local pizza places where I feel like it's very fast paced, unfriendly, and dudes just yelling "next!" All the pizza was incredible, including the garlic knots. This place just feels like a good old pizza joint with guys who like.. care about pizza lol. I will be a returning...
