First, you should always discount the reviews which complain about the most boring, common, typical American dishes (sesame chicken, General Tso's, etc.). More than likely these people are used to their local, run-of-the-mill strip-store takeout joint and if anyone makes it different, then it's "terrible”. These people are usually are typically not worldly and are close-minded when it comes to food. Also ignore those that say it's the "worst", "they’re rude", "so greasy" and "dirty". They obviously have an ax to grind. And I see many negative reviews are based on online ordering problems or orders that took too long....relax a-holes. When 90% of reviews are positive, that should tell you something about the 10% negative reviewers. Either they’re disgruntled about a wrong order or just have no credibility. I will offer an unbiased review based on experience, a worldly palate and some knowledge of the restaurant business. The place is much better than any Asian-style takeout place within miles. It is absolutely cleaner than every other "Chinese Food" takeout around. It doesn't have a greasy film covering the walls and doesn't smell like old smokey frying oil when you walk in. You can see into the kitchen, so those that claim it is dirty are probably bitter about some experience or a wrong order they received. It mainly does takeout but has some tables in a modern stone-walled seating area for those that insist on eating there. It is definitely not a "restaurant" and has no table service whatsoever. I tend to break away from the standards and really enjoy their Thai and other specialty dishes. Some of my favorites are Shrimp Dumplings in Hot Sesame Sauce, Singapore Mei Fun, Dry-Pepper Chicken, Basil Chicken and their Spicy Braised Beef Noodle Soup. (See how there's no mention of the typical bland, close-minded, boring dishes?). I will say their dishes with the pepper symbol are not very spicy - so I always tell them to make it "extra" spicy. By the way, we have tried the standards as well (fried rice, lomein, lemon chicken, etc.) and they're better than most other takeout places. I also always ask for 1 or 2 cups of Chili oil and have never been charged for them. Maybe the people who get charged for extra sauces are the pigs who grab handfuls of the sauce packets that are out on the table (soy sauce, mustard packs, etc.). Just a thought. I have no affiliation to the establishment. I just like to offer honest reviews based on long-time experience and not a one-time issue. Like any restaurant, over the years we've had an occasional off-night here and there but overall it is our go-to Asian...
Read moreOrder placed online two weeks ago directly thru their website. Food never came, I called and was told it was delivered when it wasn’t. Then I was told that qmenu cancelled the order and there was nothing they could do about it. No apologies, nothing. However when looking at the status online it showed the order as delivered. Food miraculously showed up an hour later so about 3 hours after it was originally ordered. We order from them all the time, the same way, and have never had an issue so we decided to try them again. The past Wednesday I placed an order online, extra early (5:30p) incase we had an issue again. As I’m on my way home from work at 7:10pm I ask my MIL if the food is there yet. Nope! Call them, again told the food is on its way, no apologies no nothing. I get put on the phone with someone else who tells me they didn’t see the order and they wld make it now, again no apologies or anything. I asked them to just cancel the order. Again, the food showed up an hour later, mind you they opened the door to my house themselves and put the food on the floor! Don’t order from here unless you want to wait 3 hours for your food to be delivered on top of having to call and make sure they...
Read moreWhen we walked in, we were pleasantly greeted. It was nice to see a woman scrubbing down the booths with a bucket, and it just smelled clean. Me and my husband both ordered lunch combinations. My husband didn't want the egg roll and asked to substitute for a can of soda, and she wanted to charge him an additional $1.45. Odd because both were similar in price. We stayed in to eat. As our food arrived, a worker sat at the booth next to us and had this bizarre internal hacking cough the entire time. Not pleasant to listen to while we were eating. My husband had the Boneless Spare Ribs and enjoyed them very much. I was disappointed to see the fried rice was literally just that, fried rice with onions. No roast pork, no egg, nothing else. I had the beef and broccoli. The beef tasted boiled with the sauce mixed over it. Tender, but not great. The broth from the Wonton Soup was rich and excellent. The wontons (there were 2) didn't have a typical Meatball, and were more like a smear of meat with a lot of Noodle. We weren't even given Crispy wonton strips for the soup. Everything seemed to be the bare minimum in product. Overall experience, we've had better and...
