I’ve always loved Adobo and have been a regular customer. I've dined in, ordered takeout, and used their delivery service many times. The food has consistently been great, and the two brothers who run the place have always been friendly and generous with portions, presenting everything nicely.
However, I've noticed a decline in service ever since new staff started working there. Lately, the women working behind the counter don’t seem to take the same care with preparing the food. On one visit, the younger woman was making my bowl while simultaneously helping other customers, touching the register, the phone, and the iPad in the back—all while wearing the same gloves she used to handle my food. That was honestly pretty gross and concerning.
The cleanliness of the food prep area has also gone downhill. I often see it messy and smeared with sauces and cheese, which makes it unappetizing to order from. The dining area isn’t much better. Just last night, there was rice and chicken all over the floor, table, and seats—as if someone had dropped their food and no one bothered to clean it up, despite there being at least six employees on shift. The trash can is always overflowing, and the tables rarely seem to be wiped down anymore, making dining in an unpleasant experience.
I understand that things can get busy, but maintaining a clean and welcoming environment is essential, especially for this type of restaurant where the food is out in the open. I hope they take this feedback seriously and make some improvements, because the food is still great—it just deserves better care and...

Read moreHad to check out this place as the go-to Halal Mexican joint in the past (Burrito Palace / Taco Express) has been out of business and under new management for quite some time. This place follows a layout akin to Chipotle and Cabo, everything is Halal which is wonderful. The servers are extremely warm and cheerful, I came after finishing Friday Islamic Prayer Service and they started speaking to me in Urdu lol I think the servers were Punjabi, but regardless very sweet and kind. We ordered the quesadilla honey chicken and steak, as well as a burrito with honey chicken. They take great pride in their honey chicken and the birria tacos, I will come back to try the birria tacos, the quesadillas were great. The place is really clean and organized, and it was only a 5 min wait which was great. The best part of this place are the portion sizes - one order can easily fill 2-3 people, they're much more generous than other places I've been to. I will be returning again, give this...
