Hunan Wok — Restaurant in Town of Cheektowaga

Terrible service. literally 2 min away from my house! If I was not so busy I would have drove and picked it up myself or even have walked if it was not raining. I ordered a lunch special veggie for me and a sweat and sour chicken for my little guy, with 2 egg roles which ended up being 2 very tiny spring roles. I asked for my veggie dish to be extra spicy and there was absolutely no spice to it at all. My sons sweat and sour chicken tasted horrible from what he said. I paid $13.58 that included a $199 delivery charge. Not only that I paid the delivery driver a $2 tip for driving not even 2 min to the house, which not only that the owners plus the driver live across the street from me. Not only was the food horrible but when they said it will take 30 min from the time I called 1:17pm and they showed up at 2:02 pm and again they are only 2 min away from my house and also very familiar with my street since they live across the street. So I called and I told them they messed up my order and I asked if they can send me another one that was corrected. the woman on the phone said she was sorry! ok so I sat there and waited about 2 min after for a response as to they would fix it. but said she was sorry again and I asked if she can send me a correct order and she said sorry again and said I will take $1 off of your next order. which does not even cover the delivery charge and the tip I gave for horrible service. Enjoyed the food. Will be back. Was really quick and the staff was friendly. Had the Pepper Steak w Onions which was great, egg roll, and fried rice were okay. Chicken Teriyaki was really good. Shrimp toast was good. The Chicken Rice soup was amazing! One of the best I have ever had. Which left me excited for their Wonton but it was horrible. Very watery broth. May have been an off night, but even the wontons themselves did not taste good. Otherwise a great and cheap Chinese place. The parking lot is dreadful to get in and out of, but that isn't their fault, just a heads up!

I normally order from here and the food is always great. They forget things on your order sometimes but most of the time it's correct. However I will not be ordering here anymore because they charge a 1.99 delivery fee that is not advertised anywhere on their menu. I ordered food for 17 dollars and ended up paying an extra 4 dollars in fees. I always wondered how a 8 dollar entree ended up being 12 but I assumed it was because of the 1 fee to pay with a card and tax. Not a 1.99 delivery fee to drive 5 minutes 🤷🏾‍♀️. Food is delicious but they need to explain the fees to their new customers. I'm only in Buffalo for college and I'm not aware nor do I have the money to spend on extra fees. They don't even give free sodas after a certain price nor free delivery 😒....
