I'm going to write the edit first. I'd give 10 stats if I could, September 2, 2022. The Friday before Labor Day. The food as always was phenomenal and the service was outstanding as well. So good, I ordered again for the Bill's season opener. Ordered at 7pm, was home with a beautiful, delicious meal by 7:40, just perfect timing and again phenomenal service. 100 stars! Thank you!!
I love this place, but sadly won't order from them ever again. I was a regular customer, once a month, sometimes more, sometimes less. Delivery was always great, timely, hot, I tipped well. I placed an order on July 6, 2021, a Tuesday, at 4:30pm, for delivery. I recognized the girls voice when I placed my order, she always sounds annoyed I'm calling, probably should have a babysitter or frankly, be fired. Maybe she's disgruntled, maybe she's entitled, whatever her situation is she is basically why I'm no longer a customer. I placed my order this day, a small white pizza and a sampler with 4 extra sauces. Total is about $38. By 5:45 I start to wonder where my food is, at 6:15 I call, busy signal for 15 minutes. I get through around 6:30, say, I'm just wondering what's the status of my order. She says it just went out the door, sorry, we've been really busy. I say no problem. The order arrives in 5 mins, no extra sauces, the blue cheese and ranch I got were hot, literally hot and the food was warm, but cool , like it had been sitting on the counter for a couple hours. I called back, said I didn't get my extra sauces, she says he'll bring them right away. Then I realize how hot the ranch and blue cheese is and room temperature food and think it's probably better I don't eat this food. I call back, say I want my money back. She says I'll have to check with my manager first. I say no, I want my money back. The driver comes back with my money and takes the food. I really just thought the owner should probably know about this, I'm unfortunately, probably not alone in...
Read moreGreat pizza, and good salads: I got the large pizza with onions, peppers, and green olives and was impressed. It had the perfect mix of bread, cheese and toppings. The crust was not too thin nor too thick. And the topping were generous. Sometimes, I'll get pizza with too much bread, but not this place and the crust was evenly cooked--not too soggy in the middle and burnt on the outside. The toppins were fresh. I also got the simple salad (lettuce, tomatoes, peppers and onions. It was a good combination to have with pizza. All the vegetables were fresh like they had just got them from Wegman's. The staff was friendly, attentive and are genuinely interested in their customers. The food was like home made--fresh and obviously not chain restaurant type of food. The restaurant was simple in decor and the type of place where one is paying a higher price for very fancy interior decoration--perfect for a meal after a game or for a simple dinner. Prices were good for the...
Read moreMy family and I wanted to try this place and we are disappointed. I ordered a half sheet pizza and 10 wings. I do like the idea of having the option of a large pizza or half sheet for the same price, but if this truly is their half sheet then the full sheet has to be pretty small. The crust was completely floppy - I had to roll my slice in a taco shape with two hands just to get a bite. The sauce tasted like it was out of a can and the pepperoni was awful - I've never seen that kind on a pizza before. That, and the sausage, were just terrible.
The wings were okay but the blue cheese tasted more like mayonnaise than blue cheese. It's not uncommon to have pizzerias mix it in with the blue cheese to get more mileage out of it.
$35 down the drain - No one in my family liked it so the leftovers went into the...
