Update 5/29/2024: Posted some pics from our recent visit to Potts to illustrate the relatively small size of the place. The entirety of the dining room in shown as are two plates of their 3 pierogi menu option ( one with a side of sausage). Had it been me were trying to find a restaurant; reading various reviews to hopefully minimize the odds of having a really terrible meal, and came across similar photos- I have to admit that the place probably would've been filed closer to the bottom of my top ten list. Which is the point I'm trying to make- you just have to go there! The second you take your first bite of; honestly, the best cheese pierogi I've ever eaten in my life- you'll get what an unassuming, hidden surprise it is.... Anytime we're remotely close ( within a half hours drive) of Potts, we make sure we stop in to eat as well as buying dozens of frozen pierogies to take home with us. Even after having outpatient surgery at nearby Buffalo General, we still went out of our way before going home to go to Potts. I can still remember how shocked I was after going there for the first time years ago. From its location and outward appearance it's extremely unassuming. I don't say this lightly; but you need to try it. I promise that you'll have one of the best meals...
Read moreThis is the worst place ever. We had a funeral luncheon at Potts. My first experience was equally as bad. Then they moved to their new location and was reluctant to go their again, but we did. The service was poor...not enough servers; the food was terrible...the plates were dirty (embarassing to us because the guests were having to turn them over so no one used them)...and then after I complained about that...they came out with more plates AND GUESS WHAT? THEY WERE ALSO DIRTY. They were so unprofessional...when it came to replacing the cucumber sides..instead of replacing the whole bowl, they kept coming out with salad bowl size cucumber dishes and dumping them in the larger bowl. We paid $11.95 per person and believe me, it was absolutely not worth it. DO...
Read moreAll though the food was good. I had placed an order for a pork chop dinner that came with 2 pork chops a side and applesauce. I had told the waitress that i wanted an extra pork chop for an additional $3.00. I picked up my order got all the way home and did not see a 3rd pork chop. I called the restaurant and asked them why i did not receive it. The women on the phone proceeded to tell me that rhe waitress did not charge me for the 3rd pork chop. The menu clearly stated that the pork chop dinner was $9.99 and an additional pork chop was $3.00 . My total was $14.08. So , i thought i was recieving 3 prok chops. I did not receive it. I highly recommend that the owners of the restaurant update their menu to the proper prices and get employees that are much...
