The Hoagie Stop — Restaurant in Town of West Seneca

If I can give a negative 1 I would. I walked into the establishment today at the Clinton street location. However I don’t think I will be returning to that establishment. As I had placed an Uber eats order at 4:25 for my order to be done at 5:54 when I go into the restaurant to pick up my food because my Uber eats told me my food will be ready the young man that was working said do you have an Uber eats order? I said yes then he said we are not taking any Uber eats order they’re canceled due to a fire. I’m sorry to hear that however when I went into my vehicle to see the payment was already taken out when I called the restaurant I spoke with a man he sounded agitated, which I understand, There was just a fire and I asked him. I said the payment was already taken out of my account and the young man in the establishment said that all Uber eats orders were canceled will I get a refund he then proceeded and said no I said OK well, I don’t get a refund with Uber Eats because if I cancel my order, I will be charged the full amount. The man proceeded to say do you want your food and I said yes I paid for it. In a agitated voice he said well you’re gonna have to give me 45 minutes to an hour cause I have to catch up on orders. I’m sorry I already waited a whole hour for my food and drove all the way down there from the Southtown I’m hungry I’m not trying to wait another hour.I have been going to this establishment. I love the food and supporting small businesses around the area and I have been going to this establishment for quite some time now and I’ve always gotten good customer service outstanding! Not so much today Horrible customer service. I will not be returning to the Clinton location again. I do sympathize with the owner of the small fire that they had at this facility, however whoever was in that facility today on Clinton should learn customer service cause that’s not customer service. Be nice to your patrons. Not to mention every time I picked up my orders I would leave nice tip. I’m so disappointed with the service that was given to me. Not only did I get horrible customer service but also lost 32$ due to Uber eats not...

I have praised this restaurant to everyone I know. I have given this place so many good verbal reviews. Tonight, I was left speechless from the poor quality of my food. I only ever get Hogies from this place but tonight I decided to try the fingers and fries. Never had a bad experience so I figured why not. Well, that will be the last time I use that method. I got the finger dinner with fries. The fingers and the bbq sauce was a quality I fully expected, off the charts delicious. The fries……. The fries……. At first touch you could tell something was off. Then I bit into them…. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING!!!!! They were cold and you could tell they had been sitting for at least an hour if not more. It takes 1000 chances to wow a customer and only one to turn them away this was my one. I called and was told, I could come back for fresh fries….. now, why would I drive all the way back there to get what I should have gotten in the first damn place while the rest off my food gets cold. I always spend $30+ tip at this establishment. I always tip 20% or more because I appreciate the service that this establishment provides. After many months of passing by here my daughter and I finally decided to give them a try.

We ordered the Steak & Sausage and Stinger hoagies. Both were very carefully double foil wrapped to prevent any leakage. After opening them we each saw that their normal 8” hoagies come standard with about double the meat than any other place offers. The sausage they use isn’t your typical sausage. It has a pepperoni like taste to it giving that combination one very amazing unique flavor.

We tried the onion rings and fresh cut fries as sides. The onion rings were nothing to write home to mom about. Typical onion rings. However I think they were slightly overcooked as each was hard and dry. The fries, I can’t tell you about them as they were forgotten to placed in the bag. I’ll give them a pass on the forgotten fries as there were 3 employees there and they were swamped with orders.

Normally I’d give this a 4 rating… however this place is called The Hoagie Stop… their hoagies are amazing and definitely worth a 5 star rating! Will definitely be back to try others in the...
