One Pie Pizza Co — Restaurant in Town of West Seneca

Today was a special day. I dropped a couple albums off to the homies at District Barbers, and as usual, on my way home, I picked up one cheese and one cheese and pepp half sheet and huge tub of blue cheese from One Pie.

I was greeted at the door by a beaming Chelsea who smiled as bright as the sun outside. I gushed that it was my first day of summer break after teaching since last August and the only way I could think to celebrate was getting One Pie. I hustled the boxes to the car, went to pick up my daughter and got right at two corner pieces when we arrived home.

Honesty, I would drive 40 minutes for this pizza, but I only have about 12 minutes home. It’s thick and airy, perfect amount of cheese and sauce. It has a smooth sweetness and the blue cheese just brings it all home. I tell everyone this is the best pie in Buffalo. No matter where you are at, you should check this place out sometime. Pizza is consistently bomb and it made my first day of summer break even lazier. I deserved it. And I bet...

I am a bit of a pizza connoisseur and have been to most of the top places in the area on numerous occasions. This place has high quality ingredients and consistency. I appreciate the fresh cut pepperoni, a lot of people don't realize the "cup and char" where every pepperoni looks exactly the same is pre packaged and less quality. I would put this place among the best in the area with the caveat as others have suggested the sauce is a bit too sweet. I do appreciate how they are not skimpy with it like most places and yet it manages to not cause the overall slices to be soupy like if ordering extra sauce from other places. That speaks to how well it "comes together" with the right portion of dough thickness and cheese use etc. I prefer a bit of a spicy sauce but still appreciate sweeter sauces occasionally but even so this sauce to me is a bit too sweet to have more then a couple slices of occasionally. It is too sweet to be a more frequent pizza for me but others...

I was very reluctant to try this pizza because it says it has sweet sauce and I hate sweet sauce. The first order I got a cheese and pepperoni pizza with half mushroom and half cherry peppers. First let me say that this is a high quality pizza, it's very flavorful and everything is made from scratch. The cherry peppers were delicious!!!, and the flavor and heat from them drastically cut the sweetness of the sauce... As does the flavor and spice of the pepperoni. I guess it depends on the toppings you get if you really pick up on the sweetness of it. I enjoyed the pizza and would suggest for others to give it a try even if they don't like sweet sauce because it is quite flavorful and the sauce still has enough of a savory profile that you're not overwhelmed with sweetness. The homemade blue cheese that comes with the pizza was also really good. I also love that they use fresh mushrooms and not canned. Update* ordered many times since, those cherry peppers...
