I've been to Fontana's Pizza and Sandwiches several times, and have had a much better experience than the previous reviewer. I found the pizza to be more than acceptable (believe me; this is coming from a big, fat guy who knows Buffalo pizza). I too have bought the pizza by the slice. They warm it in the oven for you, and it's quite good.
I have yet to order a whole pizza from them, but I would imagine that a fresh pizza would be even better!!
I've had other menu items and they were all good. Their wings are plump and tasty. Their subs are good too. As for their prices, well, they can't be beat!! Honestly, $4.50 for spaghetti and meatball?!!!
Bottom line: if you're looking for a nice, inexpensive lunch and you're in the area try them out. If you're a foodie with a palette for expensive food, well, try some other place and don't take up a table...
Read moreIt's a nice little location. There's a big pavilion with room for large groups. There were large grills on site and a soda fountain. I gave this 3 stars because there is room for upgrades. The basketball hoop could use an upgrade. Maybe a probase for the hoop so it could be more permanent and sturdy. The volleyball court could use some sand and a volleyball that wasn't flat... Also a new net. Maybe some hammocks or a nice outdoor fire pit. Just some minor improvements would turn this place into the go to spot for large functions. The horseshoe pit was great and there is grassy areas to play yard games in. The thruway is close by but it doesn't seem to be a factor as far as congestion or Car fumes. Lots of parking available and it's right by a gas station which thought was convenient. Would recommend this...
Read moreOk, the prices aren't too bad, but it shows in the quality. I live right down the street from here, and today I went for the first time. I thought to myself "hey, its just a couple slices, how bad could it be?" I would have been more satisfied if I bought a knock off brand frozen pizza while I was at save a lot. The pizza was horrible. The cheese was hard, slipped off in one chunk...not even because of grease...the sauce tasted pastey and canned..the bottom crust was doughy. Id prefer a refund, but this place probably won't last much longer, and the woman behind the counter wasn't too friendly...it would have been a fight. To the owners-please step up your business. I would love a take out italian resturant close to my home, and I do order out a lot. But with the quality of your food, I wouldn't pay .50...
