ALDI — Local services in Town of West Seneca

Good prices and decent selection on pantry items/non perishables. However, their produce section and s tiny, and not very fresh looking. I don't buy/cook meat, but from what I could tell, their meat/seafood is nothing to write home about. They do have a large and reasonably priced frozen food/ice cream/frozen snacks section. If you plan to shop here, make sure you have a quarter, so you can unlock a cart, and be prepared to pay for plastic bags, because carrying food packed in boxes is not possible for us disabled customers and the elderly, also, you must bag/pack your own groceries, like at Save a Lot. It's nice to encourage folks to buy reusable grocery totes, but it would be nice if maybe there was one lane that you could buy bags and get your groceries packed for you, it can be rough on the elderly, and is not handicapped accessible at all. Aldi has spent millions of dollars to revamp their store on Harlem, which is does look ok. HOWEVER THEY CAN'T BOTHER TO SPEND A FEW THOUSAND $ MORE FOR RIDING CARTS WHICH THEY DESPERATELY NEED. They do have 1 wheelchair which requires 2 people! There are many elderly people that can't walk & push a cart & there are many older people that have a need for for them . Aldi expects customers to do everything to cut costs & that's their choice BUT if you can't walk well (myself included) we can't go there. Which is also why I have to shop@ Wegmans because they do take care of their disabled customers gladly and with smiles their faces. They are more expensive but to be able to shop comfortably is well worth the extra cost. So Aldi don't be so tight with your money that you don't take care of hardly any disabled people. I love the Harlem Rd. store. They keep their veggies in the back away from the windows. This way the veggies don't have all the sun beating on them making them wilt or get condensation leading to mold. Hope they never change this. Friendly staff. Excellent prices. More than just food too, also have other household products at reduced prices and the store is quite. Love that. I can better think of what I'm in need of buying. Only thing I did not care for was that the carts are kept outside and the one I had was very dirty when I put the seat down.
