Grande Pizza — Restaurant in Town of Chenango

Mother’s Day. They made it seem like it was as overly busy? Yes more people than usual but this place used to be PACKED. The guys are great super nice it’s the ladies working that have the issues. They don’t greet customers, constantly ignoring you. Our server, possibly one of the owners? She was much older than the rest… criticized what we ordered, told us we didn’t need it, ( 2 pizzas) got upset when we asked for bread… as we ordered real dinners for the adults. Told us we could get the soup/salad w our meal. It had to be the salad bar. (Told is it would be discounted-it wasnt ) actually toss our meals to the table and bolted…. Food was ice cold and we flagged her down asking for a drink as she took them and didn’t come back… asked for a box or if they could warm up our food….. brought use boxes and then charged us for that to after ripping the bill out of my hand to add in that cost. I did something I don’t do, I didn’t tip. When paying I asked about something ….. when your called stupid, that prompts a big zero in my mind, the gentleman next to me said wowwwwww So big 0. I have been to Grande's many times and typically have had good experience's, mainly with the pizza buffet. I recently was there and ordered off the menu and what a change! First, I had to ask for our waitress once to order and then I believe it took 45 minutes before we were served our entree. When I ordered the eggplant parm she asked what king of pasta I would like and I ordered one but asked that it be put into a container to go because I knew I would not need it. When the entree came the pasta was on top of the eggplant and I know why, because you don't get much eggplant and the pasta is good at hiding that fact. I suggest Michangelo's for eggplant or lagasane, much better portion. My son ordered a pasta dish that has shrimp in a red sauce. Why would you have a dish like that in a sauce and leave the tail on the shrimp? CHARGE ME ANOTHER DOLLAR FOR TAIL OFF SHRIMP, PLEASE! It's been about a year since my last visit. We moved here in 1984 and had been patronizing them since then. During our last visit we ordered our usual medium pie. When we picked up our first slices they were soggy and raw. Told the waitress, she took it back and told us they were making a new one. A few minutes later came back with the same pie. They had left it on the tray and reheated it for a couple minutes but it was still just as soggy. We decided to just take it home and try to save it. Went up to pay and showed Vince how raw, soggy and limp it was and that he was supposed to have made a new one. He immediately developed attitude and said if we didn't want it that way we should order it well done. Been going there for 39 years and never had to order well done. Then he added that he couldn't put it back in without the tray under it as we watched them throw a few slices in the oven without a tray to reheat them for someone that just wanted a couple slices.
