Kidz Kingdom is a great place for your kiddos to burn some energy! there’s plenty to play on and explore. I am grateful we have such a play place in the area! i would like to give them 5 stars, however they’re lacking in cleanliness. specifically in the bathrooms. I’m bringing this to attention in hopes to see this issue fixed. we visited on 1/14 and while using the restroom with my toddler, i noticed urine and dust all around the base of the toilet, and what looked like urine on the floor in front of the toilet. i snapped a photo for a potential review- but figured maybe we caught them on an “off day” and perhaps they planned to clean the restrooms that evening at close. i didn’t write a review that day.. we visited again 1/16 and used their other bathroom. again, there was dried urine and dust all around the base of the toilet bowl.. the toilet seats themselves were fairly clean. but the rest of the grime in the bathroom was hard to ignore. it’s an establishment for children. as adults we know how to navigate public restrooms.. but toddlers (who try to touch everything and don’t quite understand germs) deserve a clean bathroom. also worth noting there’s no shoes on the play floor, so it’s very likely if your toddler needs to rush to the bathroom, you’re going in there with socks on your feet and no shoes.. which means likely stepping in dried urine with your socks while helping your child on the toilet.. and tracking that on the play floor mats. one other thing i took note of was the thick layer of dust and hair accumulating on the foam lining the upper play area. it’s hard not to notice when looking up at your child playing. i’m not scared of a little dust, more so an eye sore. but if you or your child have allergies i think it’s worth noting. we would like to continue coming to play, it’s one of my son’s favorite places to go, so i hope to see these areas of...
Read moreI’ve had to update this review after writing the initial one, because I have to add in something they others should be aware of, including the owners, and can and should be changed. Unfortunately this took it from 4 stars down to 3 stars. I will add the update at the bottom.
Initial review:
First, it is a wonderful and little indoor bounce house area for the kiddos 🏰🤸🏼♀️A lot of open space for them to run and play, and I would say it is best for ages 10 and under, maybe 12 max. In my opinion, I don’t think it’s big enough for older children ( Ages 12+ ) and the younger ones to play together comfortably, but usually there’s not to many older kids there. Wonderful employee greeted us, and they have snacks and drinks on site which was fantastic. I suggest some more table and/or seating, but other than that, we had a blast!
Update/Added review: This is because of the business being for children is why I want to make the owners aware of it. And this can easily be changed. ⬇️⬇️⬇️ So upon leaving I noticed two things; One, is that there is no security measure from stopping the children from leaving or with whom. Nothing to verify the parents or a locking mechanism from keeping the door from being pushed/pulled open by a child.
Second, and the scariest moment for me, is that when leaving out the front door, you are literally walking and stepping into a direct lane for cars driving by. There is only a FEW FEET of space outside the front door and then cars have to drive by to park and go around to the credit union I have been told. I opened the door for my Daughter and she just walks out casually and I grabbed her arm and said, “wow, we actually walk right out the front door into the middle of a parking lot.”
The entry door should be changed, and some kind of a safer exit should be put into place,...
Read moreWe certainly love playing at Kidz Kingdom, there’s a lot for the littles to play with and always have a blast. The only concern is that literally EVERY single time we have gone, we get sick. Last year we went and caught RSV which ended up being very scary with my little guy. We just went recently and sick horribly again. It’s fun, it’s cute and everyone is friendly but it is NOT clean. You can see, feel and smell the grime. And I’m sorry but I just can’t chalk it up to a coincidence that every time we visit we get horribly sick. We stay home every day, don’t go to school, so I know it’s coming from Kidz Kingdom. I don’t believe they truly clean and climb up on to everything to sanitize and disinfect, sad to say because we love to play here but might not go back because the sickness isn’t worth it sadly. The discovery center we never get sick after, and when we are there we see workers constantly cleaning and disinfecting all day. So as fun as it is, proceed with caution especially if you have any underlying issues or auto...
