If I could give less than 1 star I would. Worst customer service. If you can't fix a problem fine but there are ways to talk with people without being and making condescending comments. Will never use this store again. Franchise owner/management should be rethinking who they have representing their business - April 4, 2020. How your employees conducted themselves on April 4th or thinking I've been cooling my jets without a resolution, just waiting for this response from you so that I can have a working cell phone again. Here's my unsolicited advice to you. Go spend some time at the Vestal store and their exemplary staff. They are helpful, professional and respectful to their clients. They work with their clients to find options/solutions - it wasn't the fix I hoped for but they were empathetic and presented the best option given my situation. Read moreCustomer service was not good. I had a free upgrade with a trade in. I chose to hand my phone in after backing up my photos at a later date, but still within the 30 day window to get the free upgrade. After going back to the store twice. They stated I was unable to do this, couldn't change my plan and could not give the new phone back. I was was then told to leave the store.
I would recommend going to a corporate location because they are actually held accountable by Verizon. This place is a franchise, similar to how a fast food location works, so what they do at their business is not reflective of the Verizon Corporation and they are not held accountable.
UPDATE 05/30/2024 The employee who upgraded my phone did not put in the system that I would be bringing back my old phone for the free upgrade. He put in the system that I will be paying for it. I called them today and found out I can give my phone to them as a trade-in and get a 200$ credit. This is very disappointing and dishonest, they lied to me and screwed me over. Travis assisted me and he was very helpful and professional; however, when he asked Laura for help with clarification her attitude and demeanor towards me was was very unprofessional and simply rude. As I asked my questions she cut me off in mid sentence several times to the point where I had to ask her can you please allow me to finish. She rudely rushed me to speak, trying to finish my statements which was not helpful. I tried not to take it personal thinking maybe she’s having a bad day but then a couple walks in and her demeanor and attitude was completely different.
