Jake's — Restaurant in Town of Chili

It was Thursday 2/28/2019. My 8th visit. Every time this one barmaid is on she is so rude! First off her hair was so filthy/greasy, I did not her serving from me! This women did not say two words to me the whole time I was there. Guess I was not a friend or a local to her? I ordered beer and wings. Asked for one extra blue cheese, she walked away as if I were bothering her. Wings came, no extra B/C I asked again. got a smerk. finally when I was down to a couple of wings she stopped visiting with her friends at the end of the bar long enough to look at me so I asked FOR THE THIRD TIME! She came out from the kitchen and "Slid" the container towards me? Then went back to her friends by the kitchen door while my beer sat 3/4 empty for the whole time. What an attitude! All the patrons seemed to act like she was doing them a favor to get them a beer while I watched her give free beers to friends? WOW! I have been eating at restaurants for over 40 years, first zero tip I ever left! Hell, they should have paid ME to eat there! DISGUSTING SERVICE! Perhaps the owner should install some cameras to see how this women acts?...

This may be a second review of this place for me I am not totally sure, can't seem to find the other to revisit. This place is the worst, which for me is a huge disappointment living close by. Draft beer tastes like the lines haven't been cleaned; I only know this from my first visit, where I couldn't last long enough to place a food order due to the afternoon crew that came in and took over. The second was for beers which was an over all success I suppose as I drank from a bottle and already had a slight buzz.

I heard the food was ok so went for another try. Well this trip was a bust, as after waiting about 20 minutes and still not being noticed in a crowd of ten gave up and left. The two regulars an empty seat away were promptly served which was my last straw. This isn't even nice enough to be a dive bar... It's nothing more than a good boys club for the regulars.

My advice, go to next door to the sketchy chinese food place if your hungry... The wonton soup is hot and the general tso's...

Usually when I eat at Jake's the food is great. But today me and my boyfriend got 2 cheeseburger plates with mac and homefries. They only gave one cheeseburger which was disappointing but I got over it because it was pretty decent in size. But the mac salad was absolutely horrible! There was sooo much pepper in it, that's all you could taste. It literally tasted like the top of the pepper shaker fell off and the whole bottle was...
