Sardo's Pizza and Fish Fry — Restaurant in Town of Cicero

Go to Lakeshore pizza,Cicero country pizza or Palladino instead!!!!! BEWARE!! Horrible customer and service and wrong order, look elsewhere!!! Plenty of other options with much better customer service and where you can actually speak to a manager, and cheaper!!!!. Our $90 order was done wrong then they wouldn't correct it, stated theyd need manager approval. Thats absolutely ridiculous!! Instead they tried to encourage me to try the wrong, medium ones when we ordered mild wings I already told them multiple times we couldnt have them the medium. They tried calling the manager who of course couldnt be reached the multiple times I had them call but yet also doesnt give their staff adequate training and power to make a wrong situation right. They apparently dont even have the authority to do a refund, or so they told me. I asked for refund for wings then was like ok at least we'll get refund. WAIT, they cant, have to wait for manager approval. Soooo might have refund in a few days if manager ok's. Its fairly basic customer service either have the manager available for a call or hire employees that you can trust to be competent enough and do a refund!!!! If you cant trust your employees to do a refund..what does that say?! Under NO circumstance is your employee supposed to argue with me and say things like "your schedules don't match thats not my problem" in regards to coming in to speak with the manager since apparently he wont call his customers when requested so thats the only way apparently I can speak with him and its "your word vs ours." In regards to the order being wrong. Why would I lie about, seriously?! Will continue to tell everyone possible to avoid this place till they can treat people with some respect and dignity. I feel so sad and horrible for how I was just treated. We used to order from here almost EVERY week soo close to the house and good food but soo many strikes now you're out! Been going others lately. There are plenty of others that appreciate the business, get the order right, and treat their customers right. Go to Lakeshore pizza or Cicero Country pizza or Palladinos. Great...

I will never give my hard earned money for this food ever again and recommend highly that you don’t as well. I was told a basic order wins be ready in 30 minutes. 60 minutes later with my 2 year old screaming in the car, they decided every other customer was more important and made me wait. Some customers waited like I did but all were served before me. When I asked why I was told they give the food in the order it was placed. Unfortunately that’s a lie when people walked in and were able to pick up their order either immediately or only after a few minutes. The delivery man left and returned while I waited. This was all after i pre tipped them in addition to settling the bill.

I reached out to my friend to explain what happened he confirmed he too placed an order, and picked it up near when promised, as did every other customer obviously. Not sure why you would be so rude and make me write this awful review for your establishment?

Not good character traits...

Its a shame I have to do this... bc the food is delicious. The service tho?? Well, let's say I only gave 2 stars bc the food is so good. Service deserves zilch. Made an order for pick up to be ready at a specific time, during my lunch break, so I would have enough time to clock out for lunch, drive to the shop, pick up and come back with just enough time to clock in on time. Thanks to whoever is making food there today, my order wasn't even started until I walked in to pick up at my designated time. Tip: you don't get a tip of any sort unless one is deserved. And since you waited until the time I was sposed to pick up my food to even start my calzone? Made me 15 mins late back from lunch and a half hour docked from my pay ....thanks dude. You should be paying me for making g me late back to work. Had I not pre-ordered and paid with my credit card? I'd have walked back out and left....
