Carvel — Restaurant in Town of Clarkstown

This is without a doubt the worst carvel. The previous owner (Madeline) was an incredible lady and owner and we have gone there for years. The new owners are horrible. I went to buy a cake and they grossly overcharged me. They give less ice cream than any other carvel I have ever been to. The freezers are always broken, the lights are broken and the store is filthy. I can say so much more but you get the idea. Check out other carvels and then go to the dirty dumpy one in New City and you will see the difference. Yummy soft serve, served quickly. I go out of my way to come to this location. Friendly service and large portions- I usually size down from what I would order at other Carvel's in the area. This location participates in BOGO soft serve sundae on Wednesday, so that seems to be their busy day. There is seating in store, but not much. Trying to support local business during these times and waiting on line for 20 min. There was one person ahead of me and a lady comes out and yells, ”WE’RE CLOSED” and went back inside.
