Zimi Bagel Cafe & Deli Nanuet — Restaurant in Town of Clarkstown

I’ve had breakfast from this place a couple times and every time it was good. But this morning I was very disappointed. After a very strenuous workout In the morning I looked up places that are open for breakfast this morning. I was very excited to see that zimi is opened at 4. So I decided to drive there it was about 4:25 when I arrived on the door it stated that they opened at 4:30 even though online it said it opened at 4. So no big deal I waited in my car for 5 mins then walked into the establishment just to be told it was too early to serve me. I enjoyed Zimi's bagels for over 10 years while living in Nanuet. I moved to Yuma AZ in 2017 and missed real bagels like Zimi's. The bagels out here are terrible. While I went online one day and surfed the net, I put in Zimi's and saw that they delivered nationwide. I called and arranged for them to send 4 dozen. Harry contacted me for shipping information and the next day the bagels were delivered by 9:00a.m. They were just as I remembered. Whenever I return to Rockland, I am always amazed by the new places and stores opening up. I’m relieved that Zimi’s is still around! I always make it an effort to come to Zimi’s at least once during my visit. Throughout the years— they have been consistently delicious. Bagels are ALWAYS fresh and the sandwiches are bomb. I think the lines show that they are worth the wait! Despite the constant flow of people coming in, the staff and people behind the counter are really efficient.
