Amped Coffee House — Restaurant in Town of Colonie

Our experience was top notch and we had to share! My brother and I are traveling and have stayed in good spirits through flight cancellations, changes, and delays. We had an overnight lay over in Albany, NY and our next flight was not until 5pm. We wanted a local vibe and found Amped coffee near our hotel and spent several hours, catching up, drinking coffee and waiting.. You’d think the waiting would be more of a challenge, however our service was beyond expectations. Our first meal was very good, our length of stay and the gracious hospitality was the icing on the cake. To beat it all, Jim came over to check on us and offered us the soup of the day, his father’s recipe, a squash soup with bacon and sour cream, a must try! Laney, was the welcoming barista and was so very nice. Sydney was present and made sure we were treated well. Then Jim, made us feel like our welcome was not ruined! We're so happy to have such a nice coffee shop in Colonie! The owner & staff are all awesome, and provide excellent service. The coffee is reasonably priced and pretty tasty - highly recommend their house-made brown sugar syrup. My husband and I have had several food menu items and have not been disappointed! Our 1 year old son had a great time when we brought him along as well. Can't recommend this...

Can’t say enough great things about Amped Coffee House! The atmosphere is relaxing, the owners are wonderful people and the staff is always friendly. From the moment you walk in, you’re treated like family and welcomed with a warm smile!

The breakfast sandwiches here are some of the best in the Capital Region, always cooked to perfection and served with love ❤️
