This is my first negative review out of many positive. I usually recognize any positive experiences over negative. However after what should've been an easy fix, they've left me no choice. I'll be sharing my experience with Google, Yelp, Facebook, and of course the BBB. Maybe then the owners or other management will correct their mistake.

I purchased food delivery from the deli on 10/16. I used a company card so didn't recognize the double charge till 11/27, when I received my statement. The second charges came on 10/21, I was over 300 miles away. I called and spoke with Heather on 11/28, after 10 minuets of her disputing the double charges over the phone, she agreed to look into it futher. She hadn't called me back, so I called 12/1 for updates. When I spoke with her she informed me she lost my number and couldn't return my call. She also said she couldn't find the charges in her system and nothing could be done. I asked for an email address so i could forward my statement, proving the charges. I sent an email proving the charges on 12/1. In this email I asked for confirmation of receiving the email, never a response. I sent a second email on 12/5 asking for a update on my dispute, no reply. I called on 12/7 hoping to speak to Heather. She was at work but asked who was calling. The associate asked my name and after a brief hold the associate informed me Heather was unavailable. I left my name and number again asking Heather to return my call, haven't received a return call.

So in short. I will be notifying the Better Business Bureau. Letting my company deal with the fraudulent charges. Also, leaving reviews on all sites warning other customers to be cautious of this fraudulent & unprofessional business.

This company seems to be liked in the local area. In my opinion the food is nothing special. It also seems from other reviews they pick and choose times/people who they deliver. Seems pretty discriminating if they're "open"....

We drove 1 hr to get to this little pasta place in Cortland. It's located at the end of a strip mall where its outside Wall has an amazing mural dedicated to Rex. You enter at the bar area where lunch is also served. You can chat it up with the locals or watch a game on the large screen . There is also ample seated dining. The menu is pretty good. A nice variety. Italian themed. Very reasonably priced. The portions are HUGE. You have the option of ordering 1/2 portion. I did and still had left overs. Not a bad deal for next day meal😉. There is a choice of regular or spicy for the sauce. It's 🔥 🔥 🔥. You can always order reg and add on chillies, just sayin'. The beers on tap, from what I remember, are mostly IPA. with 1 stout. and fat tire. Ask for the beer and wine list or your server, to get the latest update. Their meatballs are very good, veal parm excellent, caprese with chicken served as a pasta bowl with mozzarella balls and grape tomatoes YUMMY! Gluten free penne pasta available, cooked perfectly! We also has the special of mussels over angel hair pasta another delite! No room for dessert but it was tempting. I would say this is a great place to meet your friends in the afternoon, get some apps, some drinks and enjoy good...

Oh where to start. My boyfriend and I attempted to reserve a table online ,but the site crashed or whatever. We decided to go in and we were "lucky" to get a table. The couple behind us were turned away and I wish we followed. The young girl sat us and gave us water right away and some bread and random butter. It was free, but nothing you would fill up on. Our waitress whose name I won't mention, but WOW she was horrible!! Took us forever to get her to come over , another forever to get our drinks which was well after our appetizers (horseradish was so spicy it made me cry) and that's not exaggerating . After waiting a lifetime our food came and my boyfriend didn't even eat his. Almost 2 hours later and not one single "how's your food", "can I get you anything else"..our food sitting there barely touched we left. I agree with some of the reviews, maybe some servers are phenomenal, but ours was truly not present on all levels. One of the worst experiences I have ever had at a restaurant. I added pictures, but you'll do...

I have been here a few times when visiting family in the area. Always fresh and hot food, a variety of cocktails-wind and beer. The service is prompt and attentive. The bar is nice as well for chatting with friends, playing Quick Draw and or eating at the bar if tables are full. I would recommend making a reservation especially on the weekends. The only complaint on the last visit is apparently the prices have gone up but the price on the menu has not. Also a couple items were upgraded with additional garlic and or hot peppers and we did not request this but were charged for them. Although the waitress adjusted the bill she seemed annoyed about it. The drink menu has a wine on tap selection which we ordered from, but when going to the bar after dinner and ordering the same wine the bartender opened a bottle. I asked why wasn’t I getting the same wine on tap and she said we don’t have wine on tap…so there’s that.

Long story short: overpriced food that isn't well-cooked. The picture below is of their chicken caprese. It cost $22 for that. $22 for a portion that small (bread for scale) is pathetic. When I got home and saw that, I felt like I got ripped off. In addition, the pasta was no better than what you'd get from a box, the chicken was overcooked, and the tomatoes...well...you can see for yourself. The whole thing was a soupy mess. It's absolutely criminal that places like Rex's charge NYC prices in Cortland. Places like this prey on people's ignorance, because they know their customers don't know any better. Well you can't pull the wool over THIS customer's eyes. I see you Rex's, and you should be ashamed of yourselves. Bottom line, if you like being overcharged for low- to mid-range food, go to Rex's. Otherwise, you're better off buying and making everything yourself. It'll taste better and cost less.

Was just charged $100 for a steak and a seafood broil with calamari and a side of pasta. The cut of meat was full of fat and no flavor. It was covered in fried onion rings that you can get in the frozen section at Walmart. There was about a cup of calamari on a whole bed of lettuce. The pasta had generic sauce and tasted like a side dish for a kids meal. No problems paying for a quality meal, but this was far from being anything that I would order again. Would not recommend…2/10
