Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in Town of De Witt

Was the only customer there where I went. There were 5 people working and no online orders. After waiting for a minute, a man comes up to the counter and asks what I want. I order a cold sub off the menu, not even my own creation. He puts his hands up and walks away. I wait 3 minutes just staring at the staff just standing there. Finally a girl walks up and asks what I would like. I say the same order I said to the first man. She gets the bread, cuts it, and then walks away and starts sweeping. I wait another 5 minutes of watching people do nothing until someone else finally asks what I want to order. I for the 3rd time and to the 3rd person, say my order. He cuts the meat and cheese, puts the sandwich in front of the toppings and walks away. I wait. Five more minutes and someone says that they can take my payment. I said my sandwich isn’t done. She says i need to pay first… ??? I pay. Finally after another 3 minutes someone adds my toppings on. They forgot my pickles. WTH is going on with this restaurant!? 20 minutes to get a sandwich while being the only person...

This was absolutely the worst visit I've had at this place. I used to like coming here, but after today, I will most likely NEVER come back! The employee did not have personal pride about their appearance. Two guys was so filthy looking, I was very pleased they didn't make my sandwich. Disgusting to say the least. The upkeep of the place was in such disarray...it was not very clean. My husband went to the rest room, which he said was filthy and no towels to dry your hands with. We decided to dine in, unfortunately that was a poor choice, with the loud vulgar music playing, very disrespectful to us, the customers. This place really need managers who can pick good responsible employees to work with honor on their behalf. It's an absolute shame to not be able to get the service we deserve as customers. Not to mention, the sandwiches were not even cut all the way through.

We went here for the first time after reading the reviews about incorrect orders and staff seemingly not friendly and figured we would try our luck. When we arrived you could already tell they were understaffed and seemed stressed which is no fault to the employees. Although we didn't get smiles or greetings upon walking in, the young girl behind the register was having an issue with the register and was obviously trying her best to solve the issue while being mindful of the line at register getting longer. I didn't get her name because she was busy but it was on 07/31/23 at 12pm. Eventually someone stepped in to help her and the line of pick up orders went down rapidly while she was still trying to resolve the register issue. You could tell everyone was trying their best and I think a lot of these 1 star reviews are just due to the fact that they are understaffed and under a lot of pressure with the volume on customers they get.
